    For the Babblefish dudes:

Cost might be what the J-7’s all about. But, according to this…

there’s more to the J-7 than meets the eye hence the extras.

    Being Chinese doesn’t mean it’s free…

China orders Russian equipment for J-11, but continues to develop local content

But, last I heard, this administrator from Xian A/C which came out a
few days ago to deliver a message about the FC-1 stated that the country had stopped
dealing with Su or something because Su was supposedly unreliable.

Varyag. Da Lian, Liao Ning Province.
    Four pages, with photos.

One thing I hate about posting complete web pages is the porno in it.
I think it’s pathetic and definitely not to my taste. But then again, what can
one do if and when people makes such a big fuss about who originally got a hold of the pix, regardless
if the true source is a magazine or a public domain such as China.com.

    Hehehehehehehe

That so sounds like this sure-win of a
throughbred that I lost an arm and a leg in a couple of
so years back in the Aqueduct tracks :p .

Okay Germany is not in that club
anotehr fantasy of many in this forum China has engine
    technology but Germany has not!

While I am not sure about any of this engine stuff, however, because
Germany, Japan, and Italy lost the war almost pathetically, I was of the opinion
that they were restricted by the Americans on what they can or can not make. And ofensive
weapons I thought was off limits to all three. Hence, you get Nissans, BMWs (BTW, BM is now British), and
Lamborghinis which in turn is own by Audi and who knows who it belong :p .

hehehehe Germany and Italy were the pionners
in jet engine design, before any kunlun the were BMW engines powering
German jets and that was not in 2002 but in 1939

Man!!! There goes that througbred again :p …

Anyway, that my friend is a statement spoken out of pathetic
defiance and no more than that. For example: We all know that India was
instrumental in the development of the Hara Krishna faith, however, who would’ve known
that “IMPORTS” such as Mother Teresa will put them to shame.

It’s time to come off of a that ego trip!!!

    Ukraine build Jet engines
that power the An-124 can China
    build that class of engines?

    For whatever this’s worth:

To this day, I still considers the Ukraine an element of
the Russian Empire. Don’t forget, if I’m mistaken, Mr. Brezhev himself
was a Ukrainian. I mean do you seriously believe that he would’ve let this western sucking
Yushchenko guy call the shots if he was still kicking?

Technicalities, technicalities!!! Ukraine, in my book, is Russia.

    In fact Japan was the
first nation to build jet engines in Asia and
    that was in the 1980s

    The Japanese are not going
to like what I say (denials even) but the truth is the
    truth so here goes nothing:

Did you not know, Mr. Flogger, that Japan is but a chip off of the old
China block so to speak (derivatives of Han & Tang era) and that what you
see in Japan you can envision in its bigger cousin to the west? Therefore, it’s pathetic how
some in this world would “color code others” based on self-pitty.

“It’s all about the luxuries of financial freedom, and it’s all about
opportunities. Facts: While Japan had access to both because of their alliance
with the west to gang up on its giant neighbour, the Chinese, like it is with that of India, was busy
trying to free themselves form the binds of uninvited guests.

Oh!!! You know what I mean!!!

    today`s German and Italian
aircraft makers are in joint european aircraft programs,
    same is aircraft engines.

The Chinese, I’ve just heard, are in a partnership with
Europe to co-develop something like heavy lifters or something like that.
But, that does not mean that the Chinese can do it on their own. Hence can
not be qualified as a country that can built heavy lifters.

Japan has more advanced jet engine
technology that China because their engines power Airbus
aircraft and the new P-X jet patrol aircraft.

Like that of the IDF which are claimed as “indiginous”, Japan’s ideas, IMHO,
too, can be deemed as purely western because techonolgy transfer can easily be had there.
Alternatively thus, the engines that powers the air bus, most likely is a part of a “work deal” worked out
between France and Japan before Japan will sign up for air bus products.

For example: China, it was said, supplies the tail and other
sections of the A/C for the air bus. In other words: For these countries
to buy into air bus products, there has to be a give and take there somewhere.
And the give and take is that I’ll do the tail and you the nose.

Oh!!! What’s the use!!! Envey — as it seems — is all powerfull!

A very appropriate answer, I must say. The thing is that Chinese aviation industry is fairly self-contained. While India is definitely on track (especially in avionics area), it still has to catch up with china overall.

“Honesty – it is not altogether a bad thing. I mean if we’re not of
the same caliber, YET, and we still refuses to acknowledge our drawbacks
and instead buries ourselves in our pitty and in our pride, then we stand to lose track of what
our problem really is and, as a result, we’ll never make amends to it.”

Congrats people for the bravery on your honesties. It’s a
long time in coming but it happened. And, with this open honesty, I can
almost feel the positive things to come out of it, and soon.

Or Canada, for many chinese, EH? :diablo:

Hey! I was trying to soften the blow for
you so to speak. In fact, I’m more on your side
than anything else. So why fire my way?

    Regarding Canada:

If you must know, Canada is an exceptionally
multicultural nation. Canada is a country that tolerates
people of all all shapes, colours, and identities. Heck! We even have
a few draft dodgers, a few Columbian King Pins, a few
illegal alians, and plenty plenty of cool chicks …

Everyone in Canada is known as Canadians :diablo: .

    main deterrant… American intervention now.

Try the Seventh Fleet! However, it’s hands may be
tied because of the politics. Anyway, illogical notion because PRC is not
that cruel to it own. I suspect internal unrest (civil war style) might be what’s

but that alone gives no one the right to use it without asking !

If you are prepared to share it (click) in a public domain, then be
prepared also that people (maybe even you do it sometimes Deino) will at times
unknowinly and innocently past it on from one web site to another.

If it means so much to you, then don’t share it in public.
I mean who in the hell know who the original artist is if that piece
of artwork or whatever it is, is already all over the web???

LEGO for instance, Deino! Have you ever asked the artist’s
permission to publish his work??? I suggest you apply for a copyright of
that archive you are setting up in CDF Deino because it’s fair game if you so much as click
it in the www and if you don’t have legal protection for it.

Guys be realistic, we are talking here about a picture. Legal action costs money, lots of money.
It means even if you are right you lose somehow.
Just try to solve it by contacting the parties involved and communicate.

Something regarding patents and copyrights people should take note:

Never! Never use the copyright symbol or even make a claim that
your work is a copyright unless it is a copyright. It’s illegal to do so. The Patent
and Trade Mark Office can sue the pants out of you if you do so.

In most cases, and if not used for commercial purposes. They do care.

Under English law (& most other countries – maybe it’s different in China) you have copyright automatically. You don’t have to register it, or assert it (though the latter helps). Patents (an English invention, IIRC) are covered by entirely different laws, & do need to be registered. Do not confuse the two. I have copyright on these words, so if you quote me, I may be able to sue you (though there’s the idea of “fair use” to be considered). But relax – I won’t. I place this post in the public domain. And by saying that, I’ve allowed you, & anyone else who wants to, to copy & publish these words. See?

The whole thing has happened here, so our law applies.

English law? Is it that much more different from USPTO law?

First hand experience: I have one patent to my credit with
the USPTO (not in affect anymore because I can’t afford the fees “of maintaining the
patent”) and it costed me a good forty thousand bucks USD.

Coyrights rules are exactly same as patent
rules with one exception: length (life duration) of a patent
is way way shorter than length of copyright.

This is all bubkiss, let the PLAF and IAF have a joint air exercise.

Well… If you guys have already beaten the craps out of
the USAF (providing that it’s not American patronization that is) then who
in this world dare tackle Indian pilots and A/Cs in the air?
