Hmmmmmmm…………..?????
The word is that this thing (JH-7A) is now
being mass produced and yet, the first test flight of this A/C was just
made public on CCTV as recently as a month ago.
Something’s mighty fishy about all of this PR. The word
is that these pics (J-10s, Su-27s and 30s, and the JH-7s) are intentional releases
(a message of sort) to the Islanders across the straight.
But who knows what they are up to…
I just fail to see how the F-6s relate to the pic I posted.
I already said sorry, seahawk. So, what more do you expect from me?
Besides, a subject’s heading can indeed easily be misinterpreted, as is in the case of
this thread. My understanding was that the line “the picture of the day” meant picture(s) you thought were cool.
Obviously, I was wrong on that presumption and I apologize for the mistake I’ve made.
I didn’t know this thread was exclusively
about German Phantoms. I will delete the Pakistani J-6s if I
still can if it troubles you people so much.
😡
This’s said to be the ear-splittin’ Thunder…
Any of you buy this story???

:p
edison, you don’t know much about the An-2 do you?
“please don’t destroy thread like this
in the future. Retired PAF F-6’s have nothing to do
with German Phantoms and Fulcrums.”
🙁
And I thought college kids are suppose to have
the IQ’s which enables them to read between the lines and figure
the real objects of a given post — any post!!!!
🙁
Ooops!!! I thought the topic read: PIC of the day 05/20/04!!!!
Pardon me, but what does the PAF and their F-6s have to do with the German Air Force ??
Pardon me. My mistake. Didn’t know the subject read German Phantoms.
BTW, you are aware that Napoleon was being sarcastic when he spoke about China?
😀
Eddy to the rescue:
Though I do not recommend
or condone such quotations, the truth of the matter
however comes down to this:
How would you know if Napoleon was indeed a sarcastic guy 😀 ??? I mean
were you there personally with the guy when he made the quotation or statement??? Last I read, he’s some
grumpy old man and he’s dead on, and dead serious, on the things he says.
The above (His seriousness) was also said to
be the reason why they put him on isolated detention in this deserted
Island in the Pacific until his well-wishing days.
🙂
Be afraid of the mighty J-10, be afraid… 😀
More seriously,as Vympel said, do you have any proof of what you’re saying?
Regards
Haha 😀 … Seems here you are trying to put words in my mouth!!!
“I said implemented as a precautionary measure!!!”
It’s not quite the same as being afraid!!! Facts: The US is known
for assessing potential threats and she is known for making precautionary control measures
way ahead of time regardless if these threads are real and actual.
I.e., the bunker buster mini-nuke and the NMD system is one such similar move.
If it’s proven, you should be able to provide the proof.
Sorry, no can do…
But, pics of Su-27s have definitely been witnessed (Or mentioned and shown on PBS)
over the skies of Groom Lake, NV. In fact, people had wonder why Russian A/Cs are even
on US soil. I’m sure there are those in this board who can substantiate this claim.
Sorry, but, best I can offer.
Pic of the day??? Well… As I always say….
This post is now permanantly deleted. :p
And as far as Pakistan is concerned , please do continue to use them as a bulwark against Russia but if you have’nt noticed ,the weapons that China sells them end up facing India. So even if the j-10 ,FC-1 doesn’t compete in the market ,it does compete in the air.
The Pakistani and Chinese alliance:
No “colder” than how India had used the then USSR and the good old US of A as a card
against China (Presumably over illegal and unrecognized territorial claims drawn up by the Brits of the 16th, 17th, or 18th century),
the Chinese, IMHO, was merely trying to ally themselves with a friendly neighbour — one which shares
the same fate as themselves — as a nation the world had taken advantage of over the ages…
But fear not, friend. Ms. Ghandi seems to be one which’ll follow in her
father’s footstep. Peace and mutual understanding with all India’s neighbours east and
west instead of confrontation seems to be in the horizon for all Asia.
My 2 cent only of course.
If the Su27/30 flying around is not such “better” as a F-15, there is no justification for a F-22.
Su-27/30s:
It is a well known and proven fact that the USAF have
a number of Su-27/30 in their inventory and these planes are utilized for
dogfight tactics and other aerial combat trainings purposes.
F-15s and F-22s:
Actually, according to The Office of US Naval Inteligence, both the
F-18A Super Hornet and the F-22 Raptor was said to be precautionary measures
implemented by the United States way before hand to tackle the possible threat and/or
potential competition expected from the “then still rumored” j-10…
Or that’s what I had read in the net anyhow on the subject …
.
The design is old does not mean the airframes are old. I think the Chinese still build them as Y-5s till today. They still fly well, cheap to fly, have good handling, requires small fields to fly in and out of, not bad still.
I thought it was a cargo version of the J-1 which even the
USAF are said to have in its inventory (total of 240 units which they bought from
China or something like that) but, in the JJ (trainer version).
Looks like, if the J-10 is bigger than a F-16.
Me talkin’ about the 18th century Red Baron type Bi-planes that they still operates in that there country…
It would be just as easy for anyone to post 10 new threads praising the performance of Western equipment etc and no one is going to object.
It’s not that the forum has a majority of russian fans and even if there are, so what?
It’s known as The Elements of Surprise.
Western A/Cs and technological advances bears no such
surprises no more because it is expected of them to come up with innovative designs,
first rated products, and unique concepts. Developing nations and/or the third world countries,
i.e., China, India, Indonesia, Brazil, etc., etc., however is another story…
These countries weren’t expected to be able to achieve/manage as they did in these fields!!!
I like Asian aviation, it is where the news is at,
I just get annoyed when I see 3 threads about the same thing on the same page,
it is unnecessary and pushes other threads down, you do not need more than
one FC-1, J-10 etc, thread webbies should take note.
Sharmaj,
Has it ever occure to you/others that the very reason for these
many different threads is due mainly to the fact that some of us, simply, just doesn’t
want to be in the in’s of the brawls, the fights, the claims of credit, or in some instances
even the bragging rights that some threads may be engaged???
Bottom line: The reason for the popularities
of Chinese subjects is because the Chinese are the one’s that’s
comming up with all the surprises these days!!!
Also, please notice that these different
threads carries with it different themes and different objects though
they are of the same subject matter.
