If they are modified A319’s, then wouldn’t that make them A319LR’s maybe?! Or perhaps A319SP’s?! No need to stress about it, LBARULES and I are just simply making a point and trying to answer with all the knowledge we have 🙂
I’m also trying to help but my knowledge doesn’t seem to be appreciated.
I think the a319 fuel option also carries the name a319LR. see the above specifications for more info. bmi flying 737-700’s would be very strange, the now finally got rid of all the 737’s and have an all airbus fleet (and erj145). Maybe they can change the a319 orders LR’s… Are they leasing or buying the new aircraft?
What the hell is ISO? I always let it automatically on my camera, and don’t see a difference in shutter time or something when taking a picture.
Did you try the above mentioned trick to compress pictures?
For example, this picture is just 50 kb big! The quality is low because of my lousy low-shutterspeed camera.
Privatair’s a319’s are Corporate Jetliners, which are MODIFIED A319S!!! These A319’s have extra fuel tankage that replaces cargo space, because this is not necesairy anymore if only a small amount of passengers fly. The payload is in this case also reduced, which again enlarges range. The a319 has a range of over 10000 km, enough to certify the aircraft for these operations! The 737-700 has a range of 6038 km, enough but too risky for trancontinental operations, and the a319 fuel option has a range of 6846 km, which is also not enough for this.
BMI doesnot operate 737-700’s and such thing as a A319LR doesn’t exist, it’s called A319 fuel option. This A319 has intercontinental range, but I don’t think it’s certified to do so. The 737-700 also has the range to fly over to the eastcoast from Europe, but is also not certified to do so.
I can remember however that bmi started longhaul services with a330’s from Edniburgh or Glasgow?
I flew in April 2002 on a Sobelair 737-400. The outbound flight had very strict crew and asked the copilot for access in the cockpit when he got out to go to the toilet, and got in for ten minutes. I was very surprised that the captain allowed me to turn the aircraft to the next waypoint! Unique experience
On the inbound flight the cockpit door was constantly open (those crappy American engineers design the front so that the cockpit door constantly slams against the toilet door ), and it was crowded in there, I think we had a world record of most people in a 737 cockpit:). But the captain was getting it on his nerves aftere a while. No jumpseat rides yet, but I hope to have one, sometime.
VLM offers a good fare.
Depart London city on 7 august at 8.30 (no better option, on sunday flights depart too late)
Arrive at Rotterdam at 10.30
Depart Rotterdam on 9 august at 7.00, 8.00, 9.50, 17.00, 18.30 or 20.00. Rotterdam isn’t really worth much to see, it’s more than 1/4th seaport, so I suggest you take the flight that departs at 9.50 then, which arrives at LCY at 9.50.
This total journey will cost you £90.05
You may have a look in Rotterdam on Saturday.
When comparing it to easyjets fare, I suggest you’d take VLM because you also get a meal on board, and you’ll only have to take a taxi or bus to your hotel. This will take much less time than your free train. You’ll have to get to LCY, however.
Don’t know which suits you best, but I’d take VLM because you’ll have plenty of chances to fly easyJet, but you won’t quickly fly VLM!
Wannabe pilot, talking about compression stuff… Try loading the picture in jpg in Paintbrush, and then immediately save it. The quality remains, but the file is only 1/3th big of what it used to be! Very strange!
and Royal Air Maroc is also doing good, Air Mauritius has quite big and modern aircraft, but are they running good? Is there an airline of the Seychelles?
You are right. This is VLM’s current fleet:

I tried to join some SN Brussels Airlines and Sabena website, but toally didn’t understood what it’s all about.
How about Newquay? Ryanair flies there to London stansted, It’s almost at the tip of Cornwall.
Which was built the most, dc-10 series or tristar series?
And so this dvt can occur in the air???
