Thats the one ! Cheers
Cheers for clearing that up Deano.
Thats what i thought on the fuselage. Don’t think they have to be on underside of wing though. When i worked for MyTravel the only a/c i can remember with then on the underside of wings were the A330’s.
What position have you gone for ?
Sitting next to someone when your tired and all they want to do is talk. Even when you close your eyes they persist with some form of conversaton !
Going back to the recline thing. The seats are designed to recline and it is not a crime to do so. When i was crew this caused so many problems. If the two people who are involved in the dispute can not sort it out between themselves in an adult manner then, you just have to say that the person in front has every right to have their seat back ?
Expense will also be a major factor. Also the crew need to be better protected incase an evacuation needs to be commenced. If they are incapacitated then this would hamper the evacuation. Don’t think that falling debris is going to be a reason as it’s going to get you wherever you are.
It’s gone downhill over the past year. I agree though put the other stuff about trains and cars on the Discovery channel and leave Discovery Wings purley as it’s name says.
Pulled secure over hip bones but not to cause loss of circulation and buckle facing upwards. 😉

Not for me. If i started with another airline i would have to go in at the bottom of the pile. Being at Airtours that long i worked my way up to purser and was on ok money. Starting over the money would not be nearly as good. Also with the little one now its good to come home every night and not get called away on stbys at the drop of a hat. Don’t get me wrong though i loved my 11 years flying and had some great times. But as you get older your prioritys change and i think getting made redundant came at the right time for me , well as much as that sort of thing can. Thanks both of you for asking. 🙂
Things are going very well thanks. Im now working for the police and the mrs works part time at a pub down the road. We had a little girl last year who is one on friday. We both miss flying in some ways. Strange feeling when you get out of the industry. Got to get on with things though. 🙂
I was cabin crew for Airtours / Mytravel for nearly 11 years. Hung up my wings last year.
