It looks like one of the Payen experiments but poor quality photos like this are often soviet. The kind of aeroplane that makes you want to spend more time with boats.

It’s got to be between the Botha or the Lerwick. Both exhibited some pretty awful characteristics The Barra saw quite a bit of use including postwar and the Albermarle did see some operational use. The Bombay saw a lot of useful service in the transport and ambulance roles in North Africa.

There was a version of the Type 11 the Type 11-Hydro. One version had three floats and another had two floats. Italy had one three float type. I have no pictures.

It’s possible that they were taken at Nantes as this was the last base in France that these two Sqns were together when the remaining a/c and crews left for England. These were probably the “lame ducks”. I have seen a number of photos of Potez 25’s on their noses and I wonder if it seems to have been standard practice to disable a machine by taxying and applying the brakes.

Not entirely sure but I think the beseiged garrison at Kut (Iraq) (1916?) were dropped some supplies by air.
