    David,
Thanks for the correction when I was there it did seem slightly empty staffwise and your right about the cost to. Just for anyone who hasn’t been to Fantasy of Flight make sure you take the restoration tour its definitely worth a look.

    Colin,
Mr Weeks has many machines he wants to rebuild however, from looking at his extensive collection in 2004 and the people who work for him there is a signifcant lack of man power. he has a lot of A/C on the books including some fantastic machines, it is unfortunate though that the Lanc is in this ‘back log’ perhaps some could restore it for him?
I believe that Mr Weeks is also the only person who flies his machines. I give the man serious credit as every restoration undertaken by his team has been fantastic so the Lanc should be something special when its done.

Just got in an found this, words cannot describe it really, shocked, stunned, upset all spring to mind. He was Duxford’s very own ‘Flying Legend’. When ever a Spit was up and about my first thought was 434 with Ray in the hot seat. Looking back on his huge career which has affected many I feel we can see the amazing qualities of this wonderful gentleman. I will never forget his last British display on October 16th in the company of Cliff Spink.
My thoughts are with Ray Hanna’s family and everyone he was associated with. May MH434 be a tribute to him as well as to what it stood for already.
    R.I.P Ray.
Thank you for so many enjoyable moments over the years you wont be forgotten.

Probably not one to answer this but here goes…
I believe aircraft movements into Airspace will happen before the show. The show Maybe set out inorder to have a opening for the hanger like the AAM in 1997. As for the Blenheim I believe she will be put into Airspace a little later than planned.
IWM staff check up on this if wrong.
