Oh no not another one! Why cant people just be surprised by Legends? Yes it maybe THE premier Warbird event. but has alot of other important aspects besides the nostolagia. I hear from many people (not anybody from the Forum)that they go to see the masses of Spitfires. Legends also hosts one of largest gatherings of WW2 Aces aswell and this is sometimes overlooked by some members of the public.
    Rlangham,
Legends has the Nostalgia of a bygone era and has made itself a tradition of great displays over the years with many special guests as well as visiting aircraft from around the globe. I can honestly say I have NEVER been dissapointed at Legends and I hope you have a wonderful experince.

    P.S keep up the enthusiasm.

    Snapper,
Ill buy you a beer next time I see you.
    Y11F,
I couldnt see them properly obscured by cloud mostly. My recognition skills are off on that. Total idiot I am.
    Mike,
    Well spotted.
I heard from a Tutor at college that they may have been Yaks (of the modern variety) but they did look nice up there in the sky together. Very tight formation.

    Rlangham,
Ill think you’ll find that those aircraft left for pastures new a longtime ago.
    Y11F,
they mayhave been Yaks but one looked like a Wildcat may be wrong though.

Will we see another ‘Cold War’ jet theme then? this is due to Meteor, Sabre, and T-33 being on the list.

To be fair to Duxford the weather is not their fault. I will be paying full admission in October as I think it would be unfair to claim from them if its beyond there power to do anything about it.
