Any news on BA domestic for tomorrow as i have a mate coming up from gatwick to ncl.

All BA have said so far is:”It is anticipated that British Airways will operate around 80 per cent of the scheduled 210 shorthaul and domestic services to and from London Gatwick on Friday 11 August.”
On the British Airways website, it says that all 4 of BA’s LGW-NCL services tomorrow are estimated to be running on time.

Are the likes of flybe charging for additional hold luggage that people intended to be Hand Luggage?

From the FlyBE website, “UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, FLYBE HAS SUSPENDED BAGGAGE CHARGES DUE TO THE HEIGHTENED IN-AIRPORT SECURITY.”

Brilliant photos. My Favourite two are: “G-CELE boarding for it’s flight back to LBA” and the BA Embraer 145.

Good news for EDI though. Is it Linate, Bergamo or Malpensa they’re flying to?

    They’re flying to Bergamo.

I remember reading a news report on the BBC site that Ryanair were getting rid of window blinds and reclining chairs to further cut down on costs. The article isn’t recent though. I’ll try and dig it out.

Yes I read a news articles on this also. Apparently Ryanair fix 40 reclining seats per aircraft per year. Replacing the seats with none reclining ones, would apparently save them £130,000 per year per aircraft.

I think Jet2 are pretty tacky (branding wise). And any airline who names an aircraft “Jo Whiley” is really taking the p!ss.

Its called publicity, not taking the p**s.

Southampton i would not think there would be enough demand on routes!!!
