where was it coming from
It was coming from Stavanger, in Norway.
I passed the airport at around 10am today, as saw the Aircraft where it stopped.
One thing that I did see was two Easyjet aircraft. One was at the terminal operating the morning flight to Luton, whereas the other was sat near the Flying school. I did realise that on flight departures last night that passengers on the evening flight to Luton had to contact the airline. So I wonder if the crew ran out of hours or something, because of the delay?
Just realised that this other Easyjet aircraft (it was a B737) departed Aberdeen at 13:11 as EZY9148.
Personally I like the Cuprinol advert. http://www.cuprinol.co.uk/video/sprayable_fence_advert/sprayable_fence_advert.html
Think that is great!

ETOPS (Extended-range Twin-engine Operational Performance Standards) is the length of time that the aircraft is allowed to be in the air from an emergency or diversion airport. The maximum ETOPS at the minute is indeed 180 mins. ETOPS 180 covers 95 % of the Earth’s Surface.
Found this out at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ETOPS
I would love to see FlyBE potentialy start foreign routes out of LBA, maybe French or Spanish destinations.
They fly to Bergerac, thats in France.
Tom mate did you by any chance catch the name of the first officer on the flybe flight to manchester? As there is a good chance i may know him.
He didn’t fly with FlyBE to Manchester, it was BA Connect.
Brilliant news for Leeds. I can see me and members of my family using this route quite alot.
Brilliant read. Glad you had a nice day flying. I’ve never been bussed to the arrivals area at Manchester before when arriving at Terminal 3, I’ve always been on a gate.
Fantastic photos there. In the second photo, why does the BMI have its rudder moved? My favourite has to be the full length shot of the Monarch A321.
For anyone interested, LS232 from Barcelona tonight was operated twice (i.e. To bring the passengers from yesterday back). One flight landed at 18:50 and the other 19:45.
I wonder if there thinking that the aircraft affected will be fixed for tomorrow, as there are no extra Barcelona flights tomorrow to fetch the stranded passengers, or would this information not appear on the departures list?
I like it, although I think it would look better if the winglets were painted blue too.
Is that the 17:40 departure from Barcelona? On Aena (Spanish airports) it is saying that the flight is cancelled.
Don’t think it’s the LOCO:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audeli_AirTheir website though just says “A340”!!
The LOCO’s name hasn’t been announced yet, I don’t think.
