I agree that Political Correctness is getting sillier and sillier by the day. I mean one of the things that annoys me is the fact that we cannot call it a Blackboard for fear of causing offence to coloured people, yet it is perfectly acceptable to call it a Whiteboard! What is the difference? It seems that its OK to call it a Whiteboard, irrespective of wether it causes offence to White people or Not.

I know these arean’t that good but oh well.
They are taken from the city centre in Dusseldorf. The tower is called the Rhein Tower and has a cafe at the top.

I’m going to be in the same position as you because I’m starting a degree in Aviation Management and Operations on wednesday.
Afterwards I hope to eventually get a career in management of an airline or airport.
I know that British Airways have a graduate training scheme. Have a look here: http://www.britishairwaysjobs.com/baweb1/?newms=info37

    Brilliant pictures there Si. 🙂

    Just two questions though:
    1. Why are the seats rear facing?
    2. What job do you do, I guess your in the RAF?

    Cheers Tom

I’m doing my degree at London Metropolitan University, really looking forward to it and hopefully will get me a job in the aviation industry (only been into airliners for a week now and already fascinated)

    Nice photos Rob. 🙂

I’m starting a degree in Aviation Management next week at the Aviation Academy in Leeds, which runs the course in conjunction with London Metropolitan University.

    Hi Rick,

I don’t drive any of the cars mentioned, though my one of my favourite cars happens to be the Volkswagen Golf. 🙂

Can I still join your forum, even though I don’t drive one of the afore mentioned cars?

    Cheers Tom

    Congratulations Deano, well done 🙂

After accepting Edinburgh and making plans to move I had a phone call from HR today offering me Exeter, so to say we are over the moon is an understatement, the Wolf Blass is being chilled as we speak 😀

Thanks again for the info chaps, I’ll repay with a small Type Rating Diary & pics if I can

    Dean

As your going to be based at Exeter, you may even be piloting my flight back to Aberdeen on Christmas Eve from Leeds (it comes up from Exeter).
