Great photos mate 🙂 Best one in my opinion is the Eastern Airways Jetstream 41.
Brilliant Photos. Think the Air Berlin scheme is great 🙂
On another note, I thought that EasyJet had got rid of all their B737s and replaced them with A319s. Where are they based, as obviously they still have a few??
Cheers
Great pictures, Love the British Airways B757 and the Lufthansa B737.
Story here from the BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7169738.stm
Not good news for me either, I’m at Aberdeen on the 14th!
Oh so there is going to be some competition for Jet2 on this route.
However Jet2 do beat EasyJet on frequency as during the peak of the summer season, they operate a flight from Newcastle (NCL) to Murcia (MJV) daily, compared to EasyJet who are going to operate a thrice weekly service on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Just compared flights outbound on the 10th July, returning 17th July and it appears that EasyJet are the cheaper of the two airlines, offering £68 return compared to Jet2 which is £94. (These figures are rounded to the nearest pound)
So EXT-LBA-ABZ with BE ends I take it from above, and reverts back to operating just EXT-LBA?
Yeah thats right. The Exeter (EXT) flights have been retimed:
Dep EXT – 14:40
Arr LBA – 15:25
DEP LBA – 16:10
ARR EXT – 17:15
Same flight numbers for the above will be kept – BE643/644.
Just had a look for the Exeter to Aberdeen and Exeter to Inverness flights. What actually happens is the flight goes EXT-ABZ-INV-EXT.
Yeah, I’ve just been looking at flights from LBA to ABZ return in July and I was quoted a whooping £206.98!!! 😮 That is considerably more than my £59.98 that I paid return in December! Infact at that price I’d be able to buy 3 return flights!!
Richard, I saw that on the BBC News website yesterday that British Airways are dropping the LGW route at the end of March. I thought that was quite surprising, when according to the article, they flew approximately 19,000 passengers in October. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/north_east/7112995.stm
Here is the link for what Richard Taylor said about FlyBE wanted to establish the Aberdeen to London Gatwick link when BA pulls out: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/north_east/7114961.stm

The aircraft that BA put as the Rugby World Cup aircraft was an Airbus A321 registered G-EUXK.
It is named “Hope and Glory.”
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1261671/L/
The aircraft is very young. It was delivered to British Airways on the 30th August 2007.
Hope this Helps 🙂
Here’s another photo from me, not very good quality, but it’s something that I bought today, and should get everyone in the Festive Spirit 😀

Deplorable!
Please quote your source for this, together with the name of the authority that is imposing this stupid stricture so that we can all express our disgust and anger at this lunacy directly to those responsible.
Or is it one of those things that “everyone knows”, rather like the famous EU Straight Banana and The Council That Banned Christmas? 😎
It just one of those things that people knows. It was my aunty that told me cos shes a teacher.
Another one is that they are no longer Black Bin Bags, there now meant to be called Refuse Sacks, or simply Bin Bags.
