sad news when i read of this,i grew up watching episodes of Dads army with my grandad, and reaffirming myself with the episodes after my grandad passed away, as a sort of memory to him

the world has lost one of the true acting greats with the basing of “Jonesy” i had hoped one day to meet him and thank him 🙁

Scott, I saw it all from the start, it’s one of a few, that had “All Action” in it from the start, well directed, and filmed.Wish I had recorded it, Still think RED TAILS, is/ probably going to be the best though this year.

Red tails for me Jim, was quite a let down, i agree the idea behind the film is a good thing, but it didnt really show as much as id expected in the film, i felt it was just another CGI heavy unrealistic aircraft film, (IE the p51 that flips on its axis rather than actually flying like an aircraft normally does) i have met one of the original founding members of the Tuskeegee airmen (and his wife mildred, first black female pilot i believe) and listened to some of his stories, so i was expecting a lot more from the film in all honesty

that looks like itll polish out 😉

we did a fireworks show a fortnight ago, where there was a stables in close proximity to our primary firing site, subject to this we changed location to secondary firing site, horses do tend to be startled by fireworks, there was a stray in a field, i went down to make sure it and the public if they turned up were safe,

however as i type this, there are some idiots setting off fireworks at 20 past 2 in the afternoon…i do question their mentality, its daytime for that imaginative blokes sake!

i did miss the first 20 minutes however 🙁

god damn that had me hooked, very interesting indeed, i was on the edge of my seat/bed cringing at how good it was, excellent effort

haha good one Jim, but no, alas i dont drive at the moment, however soon i shall be, doing both would be interesting together too

i used to do this strange and weird thing with old aircraft, called restoration…although now thats gone dormant for a while, and ive moved on to pyrotechnics and cars (not together…although thats a good idea)

so what would be the best way to determine those telling the truth and those who arent/ deter people from just trying make a quick quid so to speak?
