Meh, without that cheat diffuser Ferrari by far has faster car as was proven in testing, followed close by RedBull and Renault. Once the FIA hearing is done and final decision is made this week, things will be back to same old same old, since either A) Brown Toyota Williams will be froced to remove diffuser and be docked pts.. or B) and more likely we will see everybody sporting one in about 2-3 races. In both cases the usual suspects will be back on top.. minus McLaren who seem to be way off the pace.

While the differences are clearly greater the principal of the thing is the same.

Is Korean nuclear/space/missile program gigantic waste of resources.. YES

Is it more counterproductive than Beneficial.. YES

Could they spend money on better things… YES

Do they have perfect right to do it, by all laws and international standards.. YES

    and for the record

Do i think NK is a evil and vile regime… YES

.. however the situation in the country perhaps would not be so dear if powers at play for the last 50 years did not give NK treatment they did.. when you place one into “axis of evil”.. then invade another member of the axis against every international law and against UN approval.. you are then shocked the remaining two members persue WMDs and delivery techonllogy???

North Korea shouldn’t, because it threatens their survival. I don’t see why you can’t grasp this. It is one of many examples of the N. Korean regime acting against the interests of the populace, & letting the economy continue to go to hell to finance toys for the bunch of gangsters who run the place. This is a country which is chronically malnourished, which is poorer than 30 years ago, & where what industry it has left is decaying along with the infrastructure. It survives because of aid. And you say “Good luck to them”! Have you no shame? Do you revel in the misery of the N. Korean people?

What a load of Bullcrap, EVERY single nation on this earth spends money on things they “Cant’ afford. Where is your simpathy for millions of Americans with no health cover, thousands who will die this year because they cant afford drugs.. while their government spends Billions on expensive military hardware, most of which will never see combat… but American people pick their government and therefore its not my place to comment, just like its not your place to comment on N.Korea.

People get government they deserve… and No I have no sympathy for nations suffering under their own regimes. My sympathy lies with likes of those suffering under foreign regimes.. Kurds, Catholic Irish, Basque , Various Minorities in China, and People of Iraq who lost more lives and endured more horror in last 6 years than in entire reign of Saddam.

Anyways this discussion is about N.K missile program not socio economic consequences of such thing.

They can’t sell the technology of satellite launchers, since everyone who can afford that has access to superior technology. They can only sell missile technology, to countries which aren’t allowed to buy, & aren’t capable of developing, anything better. N. Korean launchers are very old technology.

The moon landings, Mars rovers, Venus probes etc. are great achievements, which the whole world is interested in, regardless of which country is actually doing them. What N. Korea is doing is reproducing what others have already done, & done better. It’s like boasting about having made a copy of a Ford Capri. There is no collective human achievement, as there was for the Moon landings. It’s more a demonstration of an immense inferiority complex.

So because others have done it.. and there is better out there.. they should not even try to develop their know how?? So what should they do since as you mentioned nobody with that tech is willing to give it or sell it to them..??

PS: Latest news, they have deployed a missile on the launcher. Good luck to them hope its an uneventful launch.

That would explain the Chinese terrorist network opposite of Taiwan, the Russian terrorists operating Iskanders and Topols, and the hard work the North Korean and Iranian terrorist networks are putting into their ballistic missile developement.

I though Missile shield was aimed at “Rogue States”… not Russia and China :diablo: … remember.. your own words. 😉

Of course it will. The other guys get their free ride back.

Finally somebody decided to shoot that white elephant before it ate more peanuts (US dollars 😀 ). It was to expensive too complex , too much of logistical nightmare , pissed off too many people, and most importantly it was not guaranteed to be effective and deliver what was promised.

Because it’s an expensive capability, & neither Iran nor (even more) N. Korea can recoup the cost by selling launches, as Arianespace does.

So moon landing and all those little rovers on mars are pointless, since USA will never recoup billions in cost???

Sometimes its not about profit making but research and technological development. Further more, they do not have to sell launches.. they can sell technology it self.

Same reason Russia, USA, Japan , France , EU etc choose to launch their own satelites.. and develop capability. Why should Koreans and Iranians be any different???

I never ask for help in stores, ill walk that supermarket for 30 min but ill find the damned thing on my own. Just the way i like it.

My only problem with service/sales people is when they wont leave me alone… clothing stores in particular.. if i tell you once “No im fine thanks”… then that still applies 5 minutes from now.. and no I do not care if you think that would look good on me.

Few times Ive had few funny questions, but ive never got mean or angry.. i try to make a joke out of it.

Im buying some apples, in my jeans t-shirt and ive just pulled cash out my front pocket… i clearly have no bags container or even deep pockets…
Q: Would you like a bag for these…
A: Well, i might try juggling them home…

Yet Russian Tu160 flying in international airspace is portrayed by Media (and Scooter) as a provocation since Obama happened to be in Canada

I really wonder what would occur if Chinese “oceanographic research” ship was to go up and down west coast of USA 75Km off shore. This is like Cuban missile event.. when American nearly started WW3 because soviets moved missiles too close to comfort.. yet at the same time they had their own nukes on the Border of the Soviet union.
