    USAF- B52 hands down

Rest … Boeing 747 the most succesfull civilian airliner of all time.. and to think it got there as a failed attempt at military transport.

Non US.. Concorde , its like Moon landing, ahead of its time in its life, not surpassed or even matched yet… only Concorde was not staged at Area 51 like moon landing :D:D:D (kidding)

PS: You said aircraft… i never saw word military anywhere.

Russian upper and lower house just voted in 144-0 and 320-0 in favor of recognising Abkhz and S.Oseth. as independent states.

US Spokesman said it was against international law and that terriorial integrity of georgia has to be preserved. Russian foreign ministry then promptly reminded them of their unilateral recognition of Kosovo.. which tramples over same laws.

I said this many times earlier, US/NATO action on Kosovo will return to bit them on the **** time and time again in future. Factions hell bent on their own independence will use this as shining example… We have already seen it used in Georgia but expect also following factions to use Kosovo example for their own claims … Albanians in Macedonia, Kurds in turkey and Iraq, Basque, Serbs in Norther Kosovo, Bosnian Serbs, Shrilanka and Tamil Tigers, Various Factions in Indonesia, Some dozens various tribal conflict all over Africa… for gods sake there is even separatist group up in arms in Mexico.. Chiapas or something , cant be bothered looking it up.

But heck all those conflicts will keep arms contractors happy, and in the end thats all that matters.

Putin will tell the west what they want to hear and then proceed to do whatever the hell he wants. And the west is stupid enough to fall for it again, and again, and again.

With skills like that you;d think he had served in US Senate for decades.. 😉

Crude logic to stay polite. South Ossetia is part of Georgia. The 70.000 inhabitants there are in opposition to the central government. Not even in a political way, but by armed militias. The Gaza strip is an occupied territory from Egypt. Egypt refused to take it back. Till a political solution will be find the UN does see Gaza as occupied by Israel and Israel is responsible for the security there. The question is, how much armed restistance from the Gazians Israel has to accept, if at all.
In the Kosovo 7% of the population are Serbs. They got four parts inside Kosovo with special minority rights and protection by an European security force, where Russia is part of. Kosovo was not allowed to become part of Albania.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosovo_Force
Every case is special and not comparable through the different details.

Accorind to statistic from SFRJ.. the old jugoslavia.. 25% of population of kosvo are serbian… it gets down to 10% when you start counting half a milion illegals that came into the country from Albania in the chaos of lawlessnes that were 90s .

Kosovo is not allowed to become part of albania .. that is true.. but it has declared independece with US support.. so how about Abkhaz independence with Russian support?? Further more why not let Bosnian Serb have same right as Albanians in Kosovo… they have been fighting for free state for years too?

Which ever way you spin it you can not but not see that both Russia and US are guilty of double standards when it suits they political needs.

I can’t understand why so many idiots think countries are bent on suicide. Russia knows that despite what the fanboys think, if they open the nuclear box they’ll be a heap of ashes before it’s over.

Name calling.. good to see high level of debating skills in use.. reference to my family and liniage next on agenda ???

You also seem to be one of the people with that marvelous ability of reading something and comprehanding not whats written but what ever suits you. Not wishing to derail post that is already more of course than a blind sailor… but i though the point i was trying to make is precisely that no country is hell bent on self destruction…( exceptNew Zealand .. im telling you exploding sheep will be doom of us all ) .. so making suggestion that NATO should go to Georgia and kick the “rabble” that is Russian military out is what i was actually responding to.. any open engagement between major Nuclear sides draws a posibilty of escalation and possible exchange…

And please trust me when i say im no fan boy.. ive lived trough enough conventional conflicts to have any desire to experience the ultimate version.. even with my but tucked in somewhat safe and distant land down under

MiG 8 IMO is the ugliest and the most beautifull at the same time… its like that ugly girl with killer body at the bar .. you find her revolting but then she turns in certain way and you cant help but get a stiffy. 😮

PS: I know its not a JET but it was made as test bed for swept wing desing later featured on MiG15

Quote: “Aircraft like the… French-built Rafale are widely exported and easily obtained..”

If only that was the case… Frenchies would be dancing on top the roofs :D:D:D:D:D

PS: Show was typical dribble full of bias and total lack of complete uptodate knowledge… cool graphics though.

PSS: When russian 5th gens showed up (Su47 ) with their state of art “stealthy” swept wings… i laughed a little.. atleast one managed to shoot invincible Raptor 😀

Kick that rabble (Russian Army) out …. With what???

What forces exactly are we planning to put on ground in Georgia??

Pull them from Iraq?? Yup additional extentions to those tours of duty.. i mean those GIs are only doing twice as much as they should now.. lets send them into Georgia where they can look forward to fighting Russians right in their backyard.. I can imagine fantastic morale boost this would produce. Oh and yeah.. lets leave Iraq to Iran and let Israel deal with Iran alone.

Pull them from Afganistan?? Taliban is growing in strength as it is..

Pull them from Kosovo and Bosina.??. Especially when Serbs in Northern Kosovo refuse to partake in Albanian state, and with no NATO there to keep the peace.. who will prevent another conflict??

Pull away units form N.Korea border? Kim would be delighted.

Get Additional Troops from NATO members, you know the ones you are spending your hard earned money to protect?? Hah.. Most European civilians view US with more despise and hatred than they have towards Russia. The reasons 90% of these states are joining NATO is because they hope somebody else will fight their fights.. not to actually do fighting them self.

Introduce conscription?? I would like to see administration with balls to do that.

So my overzelous ,sabre rattling ,kommies hating friend… even if NATO leadership colectively lost their minds and decided that Nuclear winter is perfect cure for global warming.. Where would you Find 100,000 or so strong troops to send to Georgia… i wont even go into how would you move all those man and materials to that place and give them a fighting chance… or how safe Black Sea would be for carrier battle group or two.

Like it or not, NATOs only purpose is providing false sense of security to those to lazy and cowardly to do anything about it them self, at great expense to American Tax payer.
