We owe everyone mentioned on those a debt of gratitude and the care the plaques are given illustrates all of the hard work that museum staff and members put in to help everyone remember! 🙂

Bunsen – perhaps ‘Burner’ might have been a more useful suffix to your forum user name in yesterdays’ weather conditions; having been stood outside for several hours first thing – yes it was b****y freezing! 😀

I notice that a new album of photographs has been added to the Museum Gallery, entitled Restoration & Behind The Scenes – as well as some Monospar progress shots (tail plane now fitted); ‘Bloodhound’ Radar Cabin internal view; Lightning tail bung; it also features an Aeroboot sunrise and memorial photos from yesterday – enjoy!! 🙂

A quick thank you has been added in here for everyone that supported NAM’s Indoor Aeroboot today, which I understand proved to be a worthwhile experience for most of the sellers that I spoke to! 🙂

The date of the next Newark Indoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble event was also announced – Saturday 2nd March 2013.

Like Bruce I now have family duties to attend to and despite today’s early start I’m now off to my youngest son’s 18th birthday do – brilliant planning eh!! 🙂

If I remember correctly, Bill asked us to hand our Cockpitfest passes back this year to re-use!!!!

:confused: IIRC Bill asked for the name badges to be handed back in – the Cockpiteer Passes (just a bit bigger than a credit card, with 3 sets of text on them set in yellow boxes) came with the Event Briefing Sheet and were valid up until 31st December 2012. The benefits these accrued i.e. café discount, NAM shop discount etc. were detailed on the Briefing Sheet.

If you can’t find it Rich send me a PM or email me and I’ll make arrangements for one (or two?) to be left in the Shop for you for tomorrow morning! 😉

Oh I forgot to mention that NAM may be setting up a ‘Goody Table’ on Saturday with a few bits and pieces it is getting rid of (books, magazines, etc.) and there will be a ‘honesty box’ for donations towards the museum’s on-going development! 🙂

I’ve just got back from Newark, where the tables have all been put into place and with the couple of sets of event passes I have in my possession we look like having another sell-out event!

Now all that we need is for this dank weather to clear and lots of buyers to attend the event; admission to which is only £4 per person!

Remember for some face to face aviation trading Hangar 2 at Newark Air Musuem is the place to be on Saturday 27th October! 😀
