Another Object of the Week has been added to the News Page today and this week it is a recently acquired memorial plaque to a World War I airman from Nottingham.

Yesterday I was advised by one of the organisers of the AHL Magee events that there have been fairly high levels of interest in the talk on Saturday 10th December – so pre-booking might be a good idea if you plan to attend!

Earlier today I managed to find sufficient time to walk around the new Southfield Site roadway sections for the first time and I think that it’s definitely going to help simplify access during events like Cockpit-Fest and the Aeroboots. Some fresh photos from today’s stroll have been included in the Photo Gallery.

I understand that the new fencing should be on site by the middle of next week, which means that the RAF Winthorpe memorial will finally be accessible for museum visitors when they’re on site. 🙂

Across in Hangar 2 most of the previously missing stencils have now been applied to the Meteor NF12! 🙂
