If there happens to be a spare table going could we have it on pitch 41 please? 🙂 We were going to provide our own but the late addition of some more jumble items like an Anson XIX instrument panel meant we ran out of space!

If not then not to worry, we will make do with what we have 😀

I’ll try and rustle up another table – earlier in the week we were talking about using the proceeds from this event to buy some new tables for future events!

Hopefully it won’t be too cold, but just in case – the gates will open at 8.00am for sellers to set up and the public are admitted at 9.00am these times will be strictly enforced. Admission is £4.00 per person. 🙂

2011 Cockpiteer Passes are still valid!

I’m a bit rushed getting ready for tomorrow, but I understand that the museum’s received a lot of calls about the admission rates and opening times for tomorrow – the above post explains them!

Indoor Aeroboot 29th October 2011

Called in at Newark this afternoon (returning from the Memorial Dedication at Doncaster) everything is now set up for Saturday and the Aeroboot has now sold out! 🙂

Aeroboot – 29th October

As of close of play tonight NAM has 43 tables booked by 38 different sellers for Saturday’s Indoor Aeroboot. All the tables have been moved into position, albeit not assembled yet as it’s a busy week for visitors during the half-term holiday (thanks to the NAM volunteers who positioned these in my absence) and everything looks set for a good day!

I’ll be on my usual tea / coffee ’round’ first thing and lots of meetings pencilled in for later!! 😀

His grave, along with several other CWGs is in the cemetery alongside Scopwick Parish Church (Holy Cross) in North Kesteven District of the Diocese of Lincoln – I’ve visited a couple of times and I also found it a very moving location.

I believe that a copy of ‘High Flight’ can also be read inside the church.

I suspect these commemorations will be made even more poignant thanks to the participation of Magee’s brother.
