Let me know Jim, and I`l be there. Howard has been living in peace for long enough ๐
๐ฎ Iโve spoken to his agent this morning and she assures me that heโs out that day! ๐
It’s not a problem; if you let me have a postal address I’ll send it through with a copy of the newsletter when it’s printed. ๐
OK PC, I’ll return the token to whence it came – as long as you have one!
The event article in the Newark Dispersal newsletter looks to be making about 6 pages (out of 16 in total) – I’ll post more details when it’s printed!
More details of XN819 in this link http://argosyair.co.uk/1st20.html#819 ๐
I believe that the above mentioned Argosy is XN819; the cockpit from which survives in the end of the Small Objects Building at Newark Air Museum as a procedures trainer. ๐
Possibly โ double points for airframes inside; also a lot of other factors to consider e.g. status of owner โ properly constituted organisation, local and national significance etc
Hello,
Just read that the first person to appear at highbury court this morning pleading guilty to taking part in the looting of a music store in Croydon, was a 31 year old female TEACHER !!
Getting quite despondent about all this.

Her next CRB check will be interesting – sack her now and give someone else her job!

No problem re the information Chris โ I always aim to try and provide accurate information!
Canโt make Sunday myself (family function to attend) however in addition to Darren’s award winning Canberra PR7 cockpit thereโs a good chance of other cockpits being open!! ๐
๐ In preparation Iโve just booked to have some inoculations!
Sorry Lincoln7 I couldn’t resist – I’ll pick up the tab for the tea! ๐
I agree with most points being raised here from both sides, however I think one issue here is that the Beverley is a benchmark airframe (hopefully T/O can confirm?) and is the sole survivor of the type…..
In the 2010 edition of the NAHR XB259 is listed as a Significant Airframe โ moving it under cover would move it to National Benchmark status.
With sufficient notice that could be arranged! ๐
The cabinet c/w trophies is already over in Hangar 2 – the individual winner displays still have to be finalised, printed out and put into the frames.
