Not sure on the weather – still showing showers on the local forecast. That said it was going to be raining all day in Nottingham today and I’ve been through one shower all day!! :rolleyes:

I’m the nominated contact person for the BBMF and so far I’ve had no contact from them to advise of any issues – I even charged my mobile to make sure I don’t get ‘low battery!’

A couple of last minute participation alts have just been added to the News Page here – one cockpit cancelled and one new one listed!

Please note that the event organiser (Bill O’S) will not now be checking his emails until Monday. Any urgent contact should be directed via the museum 01636 707170 (10am – 5pm) or outside these times I’ll try to cover anything on PM!! 🙂

Early doors at Newark!!

A small album of photos has been uploaded here of this year’s early Cockpit-Fest arrivals – there seems to be a Sea Hawk missing from the album, which I’ll try and chase up!

Summer Holiday activity

Looking beyond this weekends Cockpit-Fest & Aeroboot events, details have just been posted on the museum’s website about a children’s activity for the main summer holiday – more details here!

Photos of the exhibits at CockpitFest Australia were printed out this morning and will go on display at the museum tomorrow in the Dambusters Hut! 🙂
