Unfortunately at the moment I do not have a full Aeroboot list to check whether that is the case or not – I will be collecting that from the museum tomorrow. Bookings are still ariving!! 🙂

I am not directly involved with the layout etc for Cockpit-Fest but I may get chance to speak with that organiser tomorrow; I believe that there may be people arriving on Friday afternoon and staying over both nights. They should have made arrangements to do so. To be certain I would suggest that you contact the museum either tomorrow or Friday to request / advise your intentions – 01636 707170.

One request to any visitors on either Saturday or Sunday – please don’t forget that there is loads of car parking on the Southfield Site (at the end of the concrete taxiway car parking areas) – plus it tends to be closer to the entrance etc! 🙂

I have some scans of XA891 and the Avro team up in Manchester that came via people connected to ‘Jimmy’ Harrison OBE AFC – it’s shame that they were provided on the understanding that they were never passed on to third parties and only published in the Newark Air Museum newsletter.

Perhaps you might be able to access something similar through the Woodford heritage team!

I’m still trying to get my head round it all as well – Waddington International Airshow runs its own radio station during the event next month on Airshow FM.
