Kudos to Wys and the Webmaster, perhaps now we can have a little sanity restored to the forums.

I once saw a Pheasant fly into the side of a South Notts bus, bounce off and then procede to fly upside down into a tree, fecking hilarious!, I almost swerved off the road laughing!:D

RAF F-4Js, the most photogenic F-4s ever!, although they nearly spoiled it when a few of them got resprayed in the proper shades of grey!:)

As far as I know funding was only made available to operate the modified EF.3s for about a year, after which they were to be de-modified back to F.3 standard, a ludicrous state of affairs if you ask me since the F.3 was apparently better suited to the role than most dedicated SEAD/DEAD aircraft!

The F-4 gets my vote everytime!

I’m not so sure about that 150,000lb thrust figure, according to Rolls Royce’s own figures thrust is going to be 53,000-70,000lbs.

Apparently the number ‘7’ is meant to be lucky, in aviation circles at least, don’t know why, but I remember it being mentioned on a programme some time back.

P.S. If my spelling and punctuation is any worse than usual, its the beers fault!:)
Its just flown over again, got a better look this time and I’m pretty sure it was an Air Atlantique DC-6.
