OOooo nice
Top shots, what was the purpose of the DC-8’s visit?
Saw the Kenyan on the remote the other morning and thought it had been diverted yet again on another delivey. Didin’t realise they had chosen MAN
Can’t critisize, all top notch, love em all.
Great takes, you couldn’t ask for more crisp lighting.
Top shots, try and pull a few strings so we can all get in for a go:D
Makes for a nice change, liking the 380’s
More to the better I say, very nice.
Not to forget about the smal matter of 2 GIANT herons being ingested into the Rolly Polly on that Thomson that was past V1 ant Manchester. You’ve all seen the vid and if you haven’t then you should;)
In the words of Frank Carson – IT’S A CRACKER:)
Thanks for the info. I would have thought that the A340-600 would be CATIII and the pilots trained to that standard as well so why the diversion? Or was it because of the traffic buildup due to the weather and fuel was the issue?
Nice alternatives to the norm, great shots. Why the Heathrow Diversion? Were they down below CATII
Seen it a couple of times today. Are these training/cirtification flight and do Virgin Plan to replace the 747 with the 340 this upcoming season. Ooooor are they starting a new route?
Missed the Kenya but nice catch any idea why it diverted? There was a Ghana 757 outside the Tommy C hanger the other week as well.
i think he means when its on the ground(unless theres a spare seat(how stupid(no offense)))
If it’s a hotel then it ain’t gonna be in the air is it. My point was sarcastic in the meaning somebody books a night in this 747 hotel – on the ground – and pays a premium price to stay in the cockpit and would want to sleep. If that was me I would be in the left seat all night using a bit of imagination – just for fun, there would be no way I could sleep.:o
‘Amsterdam Airlines is a Dutch airline founded in 2007. Amsterdam Airlines provides both charter and wet lease services.
The aircraft returned to Amsterdam on 24 Dec following two months of Hajj flying when the aircraft was based in ((Jeddah)) and ((Medina)).
The aircraft will remain in Amsterdam over the Christmas period, there is a possibility the aircraft may return to Air Vallee on an ACMI basis in the new year.’
Aaaahhhhh right, well you learn something every day. Thanks for that.:)
