Great approach shots m8, Cathay Looks nice.
Shame, they were like part of the fixtures n fittings at Manchester:)
Thanks for the explanation. So which is more popular on the 767, the PW or the GE?
Thanks for clearing that up:)
I think that AA do or did do a seasonal daily flight to Miami with a 757 and I’m not sure on this but I’ve heard that the AA aircraft that does the ORD flight continues onward to Vegas.
That would put reason to the BD flights being low load factors, where AA uses 1 aircraft for the 2 destinations, BD uses 2. Would make sense but not 100% how true it is.
Surely, by GE CF6 you mean PW PW4000? :diablo:
You got me:D I was going on the assumption that the majorty of 767’s used the CF6. I thought the PW4000 was more popular on the 757’s besides the RB211. Now don’t tell me it’s the same engine:eek: Somebody set me straight pls:confused:
One lesson learnt – Austrian use the PW4000 on their 767-300’s
GUTTED!!!!
American Airlines, USAir, Continental, Delta, Virgin (florida and carribean) and soon to be Jet2 to New York( i think and hope). So still some nice services going across. Would like to see United at some point.
Top pics, nice pic on the Tommy.
Nice selection, that Hawk certainly came in low 😛
I think its an Austrian 763?
Yep, it has the GE CF6 engines, a dead givaway. Also the wingtips have a different shape, flared more outboard on the 777.;)
I had no idea that Delta went into Malaga. Nice apron shots btw.
Gettng better all the time Rob, keep it up m8;)
You’re off to a good start, I’m somebody else who can’t afford the dream Cannon yet, so I’m using a Finepix 6500FD, which does the job ok for now. Paul is right about the photoshop, just play around with the settings maunally, afterall, you can’t ruin the origional photo. You can delete/undo every step by pressing CTRL+ALT+Z
All good pics, the B+W LAL looks very moody indeed with the clouds overhead.
I’m sure there was a regular 747 cargo that lasted a season or 2 that routed either via Gatwick or Prestwick. Then again I might be imagining it.
Don’t know how I missed that, thanks.
