Off with Aurigny to Dinard on Saturday, Gatwick – Guernsey in the ATR72, and then Guernsey – Dinard in the Trislander 😀

Worked out at £120 all in, and greatly looking forward to it!!

Departed Belfast in some very nice weather today, and hit some severe turbulence over Liverpool, the kind that makes the entire cabin shut up for the duration of the flight! I did my best to reassure people but it was without a doubt the worst I have ever encountered. It kind of got better approaching Luton, but the visibility was shocking!

Have just found out that Heathrow was shut for a little over an hour this afternoon too, vis was too far below minimums.

Can’t believe I missed you Peter, I was at LHR on the saturday night in the industrial estate under the final approach, and then was in Farnborough all day on the Sunday!

    D’oh!

That does stink big time, and may I hope you and the Mrs get another job as quickly as possible.
I doubt the company has taken this decision lightly, but I think we all know that in order to survive sacrifices were going to have to be made by MyTravel, although I must admit I didn’t realise it would be quite so drastic.

As Skycruiser said all the plane did was two flybys, whats different between them and a go around, except this one is not below 600ft and a GA might be at 0ft?

Was a nice display from the CX 744, not as spectacular as the SAA one, but still nice to see another 744 at Farnborough, and the 600ft passes were a nice end to its vist.
I gather the flight didn’t bring passengers, was it because it was organised at short notice?

The EMB190 has flown every day this week, certainly flew on Saturday. The C130 was late on Friday, and the B52 late yesterday which mucked the timings up a bit, but I don’t recallt he 190 being significantly later than scheduled?

Nope not yet in service, you think EZY would allow one of their planes to be parked up at an airshow for a week!:D
