Last time I was at LHR it was still sat at LHR but had been moved around a bit due to all the building work. I think fundraising is still the key issue though?
The market is starting to mature slightly I think. Prices are not ridiculously low, and on many ocassions full service airlines are beating the low frills airlines on price.
You also have to remember that we are in the summer season now, and demand is a lot higher, and therefore prices will be too.
I think this is one step too far, he is effectively cutting off a large section of present and prospective customers, and handing them straight over to EZ and BA. Not a good long term move, and I think (hope?) some of his fellow managers will get him to see sense.

This would have been a positioning flight, brining across an aircraft at LGW for a flight to LTN. These shouldn’t show up on the arrivals screens, but often do.
