Air Southwest operate into MAN every day but Saturdays, although this is changing very shortly. This now means the planes are fully utilised every day of the week, so there is more chance they will break down, strand pax, and make them endure a 5 hour road journey!!!

British government employees have been advised that there are safety concerns about all DRC domestic airlines and that Hewa Bora may carry fewer risks than other local DRC airlines. But this airline – like all Congolese airlines – does not fully meet ICAO and other international safety standards.
They are banned from most EU countries due to safety fears, and ICAO and the FAA have quite a lot to say on Hewa Bora and DR COngo in general!. They only fly into Belgium because of the old Colonial links between the 2 countries.
It would be much more expensive as you would have to buy 2 single tickets. As single tickets cost twice as much as returns you would be paying four times as much! 😮
FRA, MUC, ARN, LCK, BCN, MAD, NCE, ATH, MXP, FCO, PRG, LIS, IST, and DME all get BAs 767s on shorthaul routes.
BA also subs the shuttle flights with 767s, 777s, and 744s and these sometimes run into Europe too.
Only happened once, some people behind me on the 767 from LHR to FRA applauded despite the landing being rather rough. They soon stopped when everyone turned and stared at them though!!
