No I don’t think so, the Lisbon flights do quite well with Club Europe sales, and so they will probably just put the Club Europe people in First and possibly Club, and try to squeeze as many people as possible in the rest of the plane!
It would be far too expensive to remove the 1st/Club seats and then put them back in a month later.
Although we did have a rather bumpy approach into IOM on our arrival in the equally tatty ATP.
Pembo, where did you stay in the IOM and what did u think of it? We were not that impressed really?
Not quite, a spare 767 (God knows where from as they are all supposedly over used anyway) is having to operate one of the JFK frequencies from LHR to allow these 744s to go to LIS.
Coupled with a problem on the RB211s on the 744s, and the 777s being held up longer in the middle east having to route through Kuwait and the number of planes on the ground at Heathrow is startling low!
The silly thing is O’Leary has a point in what he was trying to say, something that was explained in a sensible manner by his spokeswoman. He doesn’t need to make an ass of himself and insult a whole city/country to make his point.
We are not all imbeciles like him
Yup, I would go for Malev, simple reason is that it is something totally different 🙂
Very interesting report, and extremely readable as well!
Despite what the official regulations say some carriers and some countries are just more leniant than others, and this is not the first time that I have seen France and Air France in particular take the common sense approach. If that happened in the UK, the US, or some other European countries that pilot would not still be flying today 🙁
BTW Italy is another country that has a similarly liberal approach to flightdecks in flight 😉
Nah, if anyone was following the threads on pprune about this it looked 99% unlikely to get airborne 6 months ago. More like incompetent management more than anything else.
I was lucky enough to see one of Air Atlantiques beautiful Lockheed Electras over my house the over night, routing Ostend – Bournemouth.
A beautiful sight and sound 🙂
ACA are starting, I believe YYZ-HKG with the A345?
Nice pics 😀
I saw F-OMEB at LHR last week, despite being very white it did look very nice, but I have yet to see an A330 that does not look nice yet 😀
Superb pics, I am looking forward to the end of my epic summer adventure culminating in my AMS trip 😀
Interestingly enough this plane crashed in Florence yesterday 😮
The A300s come from FRA most of the time, I have spoken to Andy about it already and am similarly confused, we will find out soon enough what it was though…
