And people wonder why the sale is having “a few problems” 🙁
There definitly was no food, and I think there might have been one flight attendant as there was definitly a safety demo just before we lifted. The prices are extorinate though! IRO £100 in the winter with the super saver deal with BI to the Scily Isles!
Interesting shots WD, just out of interest why were you doing circuits or did I read it wrong?
WD I’m not sure. It went off on a baggae belt through the mysterious flap like at any other airport
I was lucky enough to fly on the UKs only Scheduled heli service still in existance, from Penzance to Tresco, and then from St Marys back to Penzance. Was an interesting experience although I was only 10 at the time.
I wish they would bring back the LGW-LHR service, that bus and the M25 is a nightmare sometimes!
I was there in February as well though
There has been rumour that they are the same company. Considering the mess freshaer got themselves into, if it is the same badly organised website it wouldn’t surprise me either
I was in the viewing gallery in January  . I was aware it was going to close but never thought it actualy had. I assume it was only for a few days due to the maintenace that was going on.
That was FreshAer
Sat 8th May still showing as £29.61 for me, LGW-CGN
Yees, I think its been open for something like 25 years?
These replacing the MD80s, or just the introduction of a new type to complement the existing fleet?
As I understand it it is juist an efficiency thing. At the moment all decisions are taken through Stockholm, and the seperate countries are being given a bit more say on their own operations.
As I understand it Snowflake is closing down, and alll the Norway routes will go to the Norway division etc.
Interesting, as RAF-Avia, Enimex, Star Air and Cameroon Airlines have all been to the UK since they were supposedly banned
Wannabe, it will be T1 both ways too, it can now handle 747s so size isn’t a problem 😉
I got lost first time at the domestic pier, you have to sort of turn a corner from Gate 5 to access the big long tunnels. Needless to say I had to ask a BA ground staff member on my first time through
