Glad to see you had a nice trip Rob. I got one of those Daily Mail free flight things but couldn’t really get a hotel to work, plus all the dates and times were decided by them (Well, partially) so decided to give up. I’ll take a trip out there in the Spring I think, far too many flights booked this year already!

Damn, I thought it was the 15th not the 17th. College won’t be seeing me on that Monday then. 😡

This has done the rounds on a few forums and the general consensus from those in the know has been “avoid”. However I do share a bit of everyones view. It was a flawed idea after the first £100 million, it keeps breaking down, but there isn’t anything else that comes remotely close. This feeling is tearing me apart. ARGH!

I think there is a bt of trickery going on there.

The road has always had to be closed when a plane crosses, but it worked to a major disadvantage on Saturday. A ladys car caught fire just to the North of the gates, next to all the spotters under 27R. Well some idiot managed to set off the gates, locking them down, closing the road whilst all the emergency services came along! Fortunatley the first fire engine came from the North side (In a very impressive 5 minutes!) and so the backlog of all ancillary vehicles wasn’t too much of a problem!

Hmm, I see that working! The police will be swamped and I bet there will be more than a few scenes of cahos with this attitude. Absolutely disgraceful 😡
