£51 is great value for 3 sectors, just having £12 added on at the end left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. It’l be interesting to quash those prejudices I have of FR, or to see if they were truly justified after all.
Ren, who goes from Glasgow to Aldergrove AND City?
That Connie programme was quite interesting actualy, didn’t catch any of the others though…
6 months? GLA will be seeing you a lot more me thinks!
I have never visited Bristol or Cardiff, however I do know that Bristols attitude to things is better than BAA’s. There is a viewing enclosure somewhere near RWY09. Most people in the UK don’t like video cameras within any kind of business. Some stupid kind of phobia that the results will end up on TV and portray them in a bad light!
Birmingham and Manchester airports have done a great deal of work supporting aviation enthusiasts, and are very “spotter friendly” however the BAA airports not so. Don’t worry though, a campaign is already underway to make them change their minds!
Fares to Portugal are currently quite expensive, and I don’t think that TAP has really responded well to 9/11 becasue of this. This might give them a bit of a kick start and accelerate their basic plans for alliance entry.

I always thought KLM was the oldest?
If you could add any of interest from my LGW report? Cheers! 🙂
Ah yes sorry EAL_KING how could I forget that! G-BDXH (EAL 742 in new colours) landed as I got there, parked on the south satellite clearly visable to me, and left as I left!
As for G-BOOC that doesn’t exist! G-OOBC I did see though. Also I now have only one final BA 737 to get – G-DOCH! After 5 visits to LGW I still haven’t seen it! I also have to get GB Airways 733 G-OGBC.
Very nice Kev. Whose ATR is that behind the SWISS?
Athens sounds familiar, looking back through my old reg books there was only the one, and it is definitly not in operation now. Presumably in storage somewhere.
Garuda 742
Air Atlanta 742
ES-NOB An72 (Bringing in racehorses to Farnborough)
OK thanks Wysi, I had a basic understanding of RNAV, and the fact that the airways were designated accordingly, I just don’t see why all the designations have to change again!
I think any plane looks bad with no engines!
I’m pretty sure it isn’t used anymore, it’s definitly not with Virgin. I believe Richard Branson used it as his private jet.
Well I got a very quick reply: She hasn’t actualy re-entered service yet! Her first flight is scheduled for the 1st October (At 0630z!) however this is subject to change, and she may not come in until the 26th, which is the start of the winter schedules.
