Interesting read! That ASA A310 gets everywhere, quite remarkable when you consider they have just the one aircraft in the fleet.

Wow, when talking to the Airbus guys the other day they were very downbeat about expecting any more orders so late in the show!

The Flight Simulator Pavilion (which we, Group Flight, are running) now is very well stocked in soft drinks. Forum members can get a free soft drink by coming and saying hello! We even have a small selection of beers and a sitting area in the shade directly infront of the middle of the flight display so the red arrows etc displays are immediatly infront of you. Kool eh….

Check out the Map as to where we are as we are not on the maps handed out.

Amazing how Bfast Telegraph always has a correspondant onboard flights into and out of NI which have any delay whatsoever. They love reporting these!

On the note of Biz Pax the average BHD-LHR economy pays between 70-90 after tax. Biz pay £144 each way before tax! I bet the people chanting water water (which i doubt happened and I am going to ask a friend who is a BD pilot on the route to validate) where on tiny fare tickets at prob £60-70!

Airbus were depressed when this came up in conversation yesterday. No firm interest (i.e. definete orders) was the impression given by a key executive.

Generally i think they know Boeing will win this year as they are probably doing better deals than Airbus can as they know its a huge PR coup.

Ok Water Bousers have been installed in various locations near the big screens behind Bombardier Static Display. Bring containers its just a tap on the end of the trailer!

The grass is dead and dusty, blankets or seats advised.

Andrewm and I will be at the Press Conference and will report back. Unlikely to be broadcast live but will be filmed by usual suspects.

Yeah they were rather, BA aircraft seem to be on pretty tight turnarounds these days, so I guess they get less of a chance to clean them. Things certainly seem to have gone a little downhill in recent years.
