LOL, the short answer is no! Best place to head for is the first floor “viewing area” which I think is actually signposted as such. Head towards the central shopping area, then go up the stairs, and there will be loads of fast food areas. From that level head towards the only natural light you will see, and there will be another short set of stairs up to a sports bar, and there is lots of seating there which enables you to look out over the North Terminal.

Happens relatively frequently. Its banned at a lot of airports in Europe because of FOD ingestion, but happens as a matter of routine at Southampton and the Isle of Man with the Eastern Jetstreams these days.

bmiStar and myself did it on our ATP flight from the Isle of Man to Manchester a few years back (almost 2 years ago mate 😮 )and succeeded in going from gate to gate without ever stopping once 😀
