AirTran always have pretty good fares. Southwest have a useless website which means you cant book any tickets beyond June yet
If fact, come to think of it, they’re not Short 260s either! :dev2: 😉 😀
LOL yeah just noticed that as well. I tend to always call them “Shorts” as thats how they, and in particular the Belfast factory are referred to in Belfast. Clearly not correct for the aircraft type, but just what I’m used to saying for the company name.
I ve been on an Hawker Siddeley HS-748 Srs2A/266 my Uncle works at Emerald Airways 😀 .What airforce still operates the HS-748? I know the RAF still fly some Hawker Siddeley HS-780 Andover C1 at EGDM.
James
I dont think the RAF operate any at all anymore, but there are loads around in Canada, and throughout the 3rd world. The Brasilian AF and Thai AF seem to be the biggest military operators of the type still these days.
OK I’ll create the thread then…
I never trust weather forecasts full stop!
Far worse has happened to them before, this probably wont even make the papers, stuff has rolled off taxiways and runway practicaly every day this week. Two S360s collided over Milwaukee yesterday and that hasnt even made this forum! Its just that time of year…
Mark…Strange how after intending to get to LBA, which we’re both only a few miles away from, we’ll finally meet in DUB!
Paul
LOL yes, I just realised that too. Silly thing is I spend more time around “Irish” airports than I do the LBA!
Yup, think its the bus for us now, and AndrewM and I *may* have to disappear for an hour or so for a meeting at some point in the day. Otherwise definitly looking forward to it 🙂
Its a Cirrus Aviation Challenger 604 reg D-ABCD if anyone is interested.
The Air Harrods livery is very smart indeed, looks superb on their biz jets!
No idea on the Golden Eagle I’m afraid as I never quite got in a side on position to see the reg.
Great shots Mark! Sadly I missed the BA connect, I don’t usually pay much attention to BA 145’s.
Me neither, I was quite surprised when I saw it had those titles as I think only one does at the moment.
Damn and blast I must have been standing right next to you this afternoon Matt! Great shots though, some of mine were truly appalling 🙁
Perfectly normal for it to happen at the main FlyBe bases, particularly at the weekend.
There was a very good Monarch advert in The Times the same day that Ryanair unveiled their “Low Cost Revolution” announcing that Monarch have been leading the low cost revolution for the last 20 years and various other rather amusing Ryanair put downs.
Very ingenious, well informed, and quick acting 😉
Ahh excellent, looks a lot nice than the old one!
