Ben, my results were the overall grades for all my exams over the last 2 years. Same for Barnowl and bmistar. The others are sort of half way grades for exams over just the first year of the 2 year study period

Grey Area – Yup I think so, as I will only be an hour away 😀

Likewise with Dan I dont think I’d ever personally spoken to Steve, but read many of his posts on this board and enjoyed viewing many of his photographs.

I would just like to pass on my most sincere sympathy to all Steve’s family and friends. RIP.

One interesting point the BBC website made was that this man had previously spent much of his life in rather undesirable areas of I think it was Sao Paulo, where the murder rate is frighteningly high. This poor fellows natural instinct after seeing a gang of men in plain clothes pulling guns on him would surely have been to run?

Its filmed at Dunsfold, which is officially unliscened, however is slowly getting busier and busier with some GA pilots. There are also maintenance/repaint facilities there which are also getting more popular.

The reason the red arrows were shown last episode was because it was filmed during the Dunsfold Airshow.

I think the problem lies in the error of your final sentence “A charter carrier flying knackered MD-82s is looking for trouble anyway.” This implies they have more than one aircraft, which they do not. 😉

Sounds like the Ockham holding pattern for Heathrow. Gets quite busy at the peak times with aircraft at 1000ft intervals from 8000 to 13000ft or thereabouts.

Its probably HZ-124, operated for the main Saudi Ambassador, and spends lots of time in the UK.

Unless the tour operator have been really friendly and changed the date of your return journey too!

I was joking, but stranger things have happened…
