LOL I dont mean wait until you’ve made your application, speak to them now, get them to confirm their position, and if its good get them to put it in writing so its no longer an issue. If its bad then you’ve got more time to sort it out. 🙂
A nice layout, but like Flex not keen on the colours, although it does convey a very realistic feeling of Heathrow 😀
Highly likely it would show on all the paperwork even if it was an admonishment (what a silly word) it sounds to me like your sitting between two situations: whether in “their” eyes you have a criminal conviction or not. To me (a totally non qualified legal person in every way) it would appear that you have a good chance of being able to persuade them to view the admonishment as not a criminal conviction, as there appears to be much ambiguity over it.
However as others have said the only way to do this is to speak to the people involved, and argue your case. Be prepared to spend a good few hours explaining your situation to people over and over again, its more than likely you will be able to persuade some department within “Disclosure Scotland” that your admonishment is not a criminal conviction.
If the answer you recieve at first isnt the one you want to hear, keep trying and dont take it lying down!
I would tend to agree with Andy here. However I do know from personal experience that finding where that exact line is can be hard. How much exactly do you wait for to be completed before you star the publicity, any delay in publicising the airline causes potentially lost interest, but announcing too soon creates this kind of a situation.
From what I understand, the circumstances of Alpha1 changed, from the inital plan of launching one route, to the prospect of a bigger set up, and this ocurred after the inital publicity started to be wheeled out. This goes someway towards explaining how this vacuum has now appeared, with people questioning what is going on with the airline between the publicity and launch stages.
Cant say I’ve had a problem with the FlyBe 146s, they are infinitly more roomy than Ryanair 738s and any aircraft in the Easyjet fleet, particularly on the 319 which serves my most frequented route.
The trick is to get a seat as far back as possible, as they usually fill up from the front, so if the flight is not 100% full, there is a greater chance you are not sitting directly next to someone. I spent a good 2 and a half hours like that once due to a delay, and it was perfectly comfortable (and im 6’3).
Hahaha, wonderful. Operators ask that PVT get added in to show the flight arrival for a bit of privacy, something has obviously gone wrong here and added the reg to the end, completely defeating the point of the code in the first place! :D:D
I dont think there are even any operators of the 7 in Europe anymore.
The last 7 operator here was probably Brymon, which I think operated a mixed fleet of 7’s and 8’s at one point.
Sorry yes, obviously didnt press Ctrl+C hard enough on the 2nd pic
Looks like they do lots of ad-hoc and long term charter work, the Dash 8 is working for the UN at the moment:

Heres one of the 7:
And when they had little hope of realistically being able to afford them without the detriment of other aspects of their business.
From the info I have from airlinerlist.com Voyageur Airways in Canada seem to be the only operator of both types still, with 6 Dash 7s, and 1 Dash 8.
Larnaca wasnt amazing from what I saw of it, you can see stuff from the final departure area, but toally unphotographable. Unfortunatley we stayed more towards Paphos on our trip, and it was with school so spotting was difficult to get into the itnerary!
Whilst this would probably have sent shockwaves several years ago, bankruptcy is just a state of convenience whereby a carrier can get a whole load of concessions given to them nowadays.
I doubt this will have ANY impact on VARIGs operations at all
Great shots, they do however highlight the rather poor state of spotting facilties at NEMA though 🙁
Just trying to work out why another photo was added to this thread nearly a year after it was first posted! 😀
