Superb idea, think this should sort out some of the mess.

Oh and I’ve given the thread my obligatory 5 star 😉

Very nice, is this the first aircraft with the Air France KLM logo on?

Also, these are to replace 767s right?

    He owns 2 I believe:

P4-XTC a Eurocopter EC120 and another new EC120 that I have not seen.

He uses LX-HEC which is an EC155, however this is provided by Global Jet, the same people that provide all the Global Express and Falcon aircraft he uses, but other people use this one not just him.

Saha Airlines were the outfit that lost a 707 in Iran a few weeks back, however as Sonnenflieger says they do have a couple. Interrogating airlinerlist further it says they now probably only have 2 in active commercial passenger service, although they “operate” several still in military configuration.

And there comes the debate on the definition of a no-frills carrier, of which there is none, allowing FlyBe to claim anything they like 😉

“These planes will initially be deployed at Flybe’s major bases in Birmingham, Southampton, Belfast, Exeter, Jersey, Guernsey, Edinburgh and Glasgow.”

LOL very specific, they dont have any other bases 😀

Great news though, and should continue to help FlyBe do what they do best.

Sadly im on holiday in the South West at that time.I checked Air Southwest from PLH, and a day return would cost me £102, so out of the question again for me im afraid:(

Nice shots, especially the Eastern. Quite like those Saabs after getting close to one a while back at Farnborough.

Sadly not, we arrived 15 minutes after it departed, and didnt have the time to go down on the Tuesday morning. Hopefully I’ll catch it in the summer as I’m in Belfast quite a lot throughout July and August.

Andy, the 737 on the extreme left of the Shannon Aerospace ramp was another UAL 737 I believe. It was completely stripped out, but the logo was still just visible on the tail. Quite a lot of the UAL 735s are being retired at the moment, and all the ones going through to Europe seem to be being handled through Shannon. That Sibir 735 was also an ex UAL one, although the SkyEurope was an ex EZY.

Thanks for the comments everyone 🙂

They operate fairly sporadically on all 3 I believe, Belfast used to be a regular one at weekends, but I dont believe it is anymore. As Elgan says the most regular one is the mid afternoon GCI run.
