Onur Air was a surprise for us as we thought they were still banned

The Tower:

After passing airside we made the long walk to the end of one of the piers, where we were rewarded with comfy chairs, and a superb view of 4 taxiways and 2 runways!

We then boarded G-EZYH for the flight home. As the First Officer so succintly put it “Those of you on the right have a superb view of a magnificent romantic sunset. Those of you on the left have not” Needless to say we were on the right 😀

Onto the KLMs:

Transavia 738 leased to KLM, in full KLM colours was quite interesting too

And that Gir Jet Fokker operates for Spanair I think?
Agreed, I certainly wouldnt have known it had changed if it hadnt been pointed out.
What was a QF Dash8 doing at London City Airport, a delivery flight maybe
Its not really a Qantas Dash 8, its the Bombardier Q400 demonstrator on a pre-Paris airshow sales tour, that just happens to still be in Qantas colours after its recent trip to Avalon.
Lovely shots. Shame you seemed to miss the Qantas Dash 8 Q400 that was in earlier on though 🙁
Oh go on then, heres me (left) and AndrewM (right) looking rather on the smart side after a meeting 😀

lets go out with a bang!
I hope not literally, anything is possible with that simulator 😮 😀
Just seen this posted up here, cheers for making it a sticky!
The BBQ is going to be a very interesting event, even with no comitment from forum members there are already 15 plane mad people confirmed to be attending. You really cannot turn down £5 for this, firstly because its for charity, and especially considering the flight is your only extra cost. The hotel is literally 30 seconds away from the airport exit, so no complaints on expensive additinoal transport costs either! 😉
There we go, I’m sure I had seen it on the FlyBe website:
Not sure Easyjet ever implemented that did they? Wasnt it FlyBe who did?
£12 is very good for a Servisair lounge access. Its available atm, but to have it available at the point of sale on the EZY site will increase its popularity loads.
Think they are finding lots of cheap MD80s from Alitalia instead…
Agreed with Sonnenfliger, its a very useful resource with more and more contributors all the time which helps with the accuracy and how up to date it is. Just take a look at one of the sheets, theres a riduclous wealth of info on there.
Yup im getting that too Matt.
Maybe it was a photoshop after all…;)
