Andrew, the private 767 is VP-CME, or at least thats the one that was there on Saturday.

Matt, I believe the RJ100s are not coming anymore due to corrosion issues.

Its still very much a big gliding site, however ATC Lasham, who own all the maintenance facilities do work on 727s, 737s and 757s mainly, with the ocasional DC8.

DHL, Ryanair, Easyjet, Norweigan Air Shuttle, and most if not all of the UK Charterers use it regularly. 727 maintenance is largely down to private operators, although DHL send some of theirs in as well. I think there are currently 3 727s, and 2 757s in long term storage now.

Sadly we didnt have a great deal of time to spend at either airports so the pics are a little limited. I was going to say “you’ve seen them here first” but jetphotos is on instant uploads tonight, so I’m afraid they got on there first:D

This morning we set off home, and stopped in at BHX. After driving around aimlessly for a bit we bought another map, and finally found a nice spot in a country park right at the end of runway 15. Full views of the approach, and the runway and apron could be had, which made a change from the damp golf course I spotted in last time wannabe pilot and myself visited.

The photography here was a lot better, although photographs of departing traffic is not really possible, as evidenced by the TCX shot.

The Twin Prop on the go around is G-TASK operating on an atlantic callsign. It did several low approach and go arounds to the right of the runway track, before finally going back to Coventry.

They are a very small company that from what I’ve seen expand very slowly into the niche markets. I think they do rather well generally, and have just got themselves a 3rd 146?

Its not that bad of a series, but i’m a bit sick of seeing “Peter Ebdon” in the animal reception centre lol!

Theres only so much of him you can take. Bring back Jeremy Spake 😀 😮 😡 😎 :diablo:
