    This was the year I started taking an interest in aircraft.I remember so well the 737-200s and the 1-11s and Dc-9s.Great days and great planes! Its such a shame airlines like JAT and BCAL are no longer with us

    Can anyone help me out with getting to some new viewing ares around MAN.I know of the AVP and the raised area at the holding point ot 23L but have seen some pics from opposite the “Airport Hotel” and likewist the 747 Air China in this set.I dont get to MAN very much but when I do Id like to try some new places.I also seen some taken from the end of runway among the approach lights(looking down 6L I think) head on shots of departures.

    No doubt the new owners have inherited a lot of Debt so although it seems the were sold for 1 euro it will end up costing millions.

    I like it but then again I love the A330 in any scheme,I still think Delta should Adopt Billboard titles ‘A La’ Emirates.Especially for their larger fleet(744,330,777,767)

    It is kind of a shame though that passengers on Landing/Departing flights at MAN wont get to see the old girl now she’s hidden.However i am very happy that someone is taking the care to preserve mans greatest technological achievement.
    P.S I am hoping to visit MAN sometime next week,what day does the Saudi 777 operate apart from Monday?

    The UPS will hve been the WAW-CGN it leaves warsaw between 9:15 and 10am it then returns in the afternoon arriving in WAW around 5:15-6:45pm.

    Love the Kuwait 777,makes those engines look even bigger from this angle
