one question is.. Wikipedia claims that the F-18s are not flying much because lack of funds and spares.. if funding is an issue already…
Do you trust wikipedia in your everyday life? the Hornets are flying regularly above my rooftop in Penang.
Typhoon & Rafale are too expensive for Malaysia right now.Remember my words, We will get the Super Hornet instead. It’s the cheapest & feasible option excluding the gripen ( RMAF didnt prefer single engine option) & Su-35
i am a mig-25 pilot , the egyptians never flew the mig 25 all these were soviet mig-25 that the soviets used for thier own recon,,infact most of the information that the soviets gained from these overflights never filtered down to the egyptians
Yup, I know that, but they are stationed in Egypt for 2-3 years. Does the aircrafts wear Eqyptian marking or maintain their russian marking?
any more picture guys?
Give some to Israel and have them bomb Iran with it.
hahah..I love this one. So brutally true.I remember General Eitan of IAF said before
“the Syrians don’t know how to fly or operate the MiG, 25. If we could have been sitting in a MiG-25, nobody could have touched us.”
how cool is that? hehe
funny enough, most of the faked images comes from china aircrafts. Is this show a desperate attempt to show that their aircraft is on par with western/russian aircrafts?:p
When i look back at the SuAF Mig-29 picture, I notice that the pylon as per pic look similar as R-77 pylon. Can someone clearify it?
If it true, Sudanese is carrying R-77 as main BVR weapons for their MiG!wow
here is R-77 pylon pic

here is close up pic of Damocles’s pylon fitted on operational RMAF Su-30MKM taken on 1st June 2008.

Someone has had a little fun retouching this shot – removed the markings from both aircraft – thats just another of the publicity shots taken during the 1990 North American tour by 2 Russian MiG-29s (with Il-76).
Canadian Forces Hornet – the CF ‘escorted’ the group into Canadian airspace from Alaska to Winnipeg and the MiGs went on to Ottawa. The photo may well be taken by (then WO) Vic Johnson who rode with them.
HAHAHAHA… You are dead wrong mate! This pictures actually show Royal Malaysian Airforce (RMAF) MiG-29N and RAAF F/A-18A during Ops Churinga Excercise circa 1999 at Malaysia.Period
Malaysia Air Force got both,Fulcrum and Hornet in their hand..hehe
