Thomas the Tank Engine was my childhood hero/obsession I HATE what HiT Entertainment have done to it 🙁 all CGI, terrible new theme tune and a ridiculous amount of new unnecessary characters and very VERY dumbed down script…

I also loved postman pat, Brum (who I actually met in his museum recently in the cotswolds) , Rosie & Jim , Peter Rabbit & Winnie the Poo are a few I can think of off the top of my head, none of which I would really like to see updated versions off aha

Of course Ideally the BBC should be neutral, but I think I’d rather it be Lefty than Righty….

I have always thought of it as flying and sex are safe until you take risks.,however it’s true to say that risks add to the fun.
Fantastic clip which has sent my mind back to shows of old. Memories I have that I wish I had on film, such as these.

    1) Biggin Hill Concorde with Spitfires MH434 and ML417
    2) Blenheim and 2 Mosquitos at Biggin Hill
    .

It makes me sad that I’m most likely never going to see anything like that, Although Lancaster with Tornado at RIAT this year was pretty cool

There are sooo many aircraft in museums that I will never have the privilege to see and hear in the air first hand, I feel very fortunate at getting a chance to see something like a Vulcan in the air because I doubt it’ll get returned to the air again after it gets retired? I’ve often looked through photos online of 80’s airshows with great envy…

Sometimes I really resent being born as late as ’91, I feel like i’ve missed out on so much aviation. One of the things I hate the most is knowing I’m (99% probably?) never going to see a concorde fly in the flesh. The one time I would have seen it I was a fast asleep 1 year old in the back of my parents car as it flew over head from Heathrow aha

The domesticated variety, presumably. In the wild I suppose they play their role in the general pecking order of wild life, don’t they?

Well, strictly speaking there is no such thing as a ‘wild ferret’ because a ferret is specifically the domesticated variety of polecat, like dogs being descendants from wolves and the like , the only time I imagine you’ll find a ferret in the wild is if it’s escaped, and something like a mink or a fox would take one pretty easily… Our 2 certainly have no issues bounding up to a dog or cat for play time … much to the horror of my old house mates cats which were TERRIFIED of the ferrets

when i used to keep them in a hutch in the garden they did manage to get out, to this day i think someone snuck into the garden and let them out maliciously, no idea where they went but they came back the following evening when they were hungry!

Yeah ferrets never survive long in the wild if they escape, they have 0 danger awareness (for example our boy tried to stick his face in a candle) and they bounce around backwards without looking where they’re going. We also have leads for them 🙂 don’t take them out an awful lot, the few times I have there never seems to be much walking progress, they’re more into left right up down than just forwards… but they’re a lot of fun, and they’ll play like dogs but then sleep all day like cats up to 20 hours some times , i only met a ferret for the first time last year because my partner had one and now I can’t imagine life without them =]
