Saving Private Ryan springs to mind. The scene where Mrs Ryan is at the sink and sees the staff car coming up the road, when the Officers get out of the car she slumps to the ground. Gets me everytime.

Work is so carp, life is so busy, I would relish the luxury of 520 days with them.
Sounds fishy to me!

I have a Capri (1984), just about to drop a new engine in to give it a little more power. It’s great.
If you’re a real petrol head then you should have a read of Practical Performance Car Magazine (http://www.ppcmag.co.uk), a real magazine for affordable ‘playing with engines’.
They have a 27 litre Rover SD1 – engine is similar to a Merlin but from a Centurion tank – it sounds amazing and is on the road!
Also in their portfolio is a V8 mk1 Capri, a track day Rolls Royce (turbo), MK1 V8 Transit and much more.
Reminds me of the guy who built a roller with a Merlin in it[late 70’s ?] i think it drove on the road, but he wasn’t allowed to have the silver lady mounted
Kudos for the Capri, a beautiful British classic IMHO
