14 mins 35 Seconds, just tried to grab a frame but I couldn’t – I have the Blu-ray that came with a digital copy for PC, but I can’t grab a frame to post.

It did look like it though, R2-D2 is floating around in space somewhere as well in a field of wreckage.

    Top quality film though,

    Voila!

What are we talking about here 51/49, 60/40, 80/20? Are you serious? yes:rolleyes:

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2009/mar/13/rape-convictions-low

“The government estimates that as many as 95% of rapes are never reported to the police at all. Of the rapes that were reported from 2007 to 2008, only 6.5% resulted in a conviction…” If those 6.5% where because of substantiated evidence then pull the trigger😉
Yes, that’s less than one in every three-hundred alleged ‘rapists’ getting convicted.

How is a death penalty going to improve conviction rates in any case that ultimately relies on the word of one person against another?

Death when a guilty verdict is based on solid evidence not just someone saying oh he raped me on a whim.
You can come up with stacks of statistics but that dosen’t prove anything
it’s been proved that 95% of statistics are wrong;):D

Every case should be judged on it’s own terms, most criminals get more protection from the system [ie: holiday camp prisons] than the victim ever get’s.
Once proven 100% guilty [by todays investgative and forensic abilities]
Bullet to the back of the head job done no re offending.
Yes over the years people have been hanged when innocent But usually they have been found innocent when new abilities have been introduced sometimes years later. If this happens i feel immensly sorry for the wrongly accused and the surviving family and friends.
At the same time many people found guilty of murder have had a sentance imposed which in no ones right mind could be considered fair or just and some of which have gone on to commit murder again.

Mistakes will be made no matter what system is in place, death penalty or no death penalty and as SkyHigh said everyone will have apersonal reasons which will bend their descion in some way.
    For the record

    Child molesters, murderers Death

    Rapists Death

    Murderers Death

The last is dependant on different criteria which can have a bearing on the individual cases and need to be decided by better people than me [prefrebly a justice system backed by a goverment with a backbone]

And yes if anyone of my family or friends fell into one of those three catogories [god forbid] i would accept that they need to be punished.
And also if they were wrongly convicted i would fight like hell to get the conviction overturned before sentance was carried out.
Society has rules which wether we agree with them should be obeyed it’s not perfect but neither are we.
I beleive [however naively ] that more rightly convicted would die than wrongly convicted given todays forensic science.
And considering todays mess of a world i personally am willing to accept this.
