    If only……………;)

😮 – don’t mention the ‘C’ word where service regulars (and ex-regulars) are around!
Last thing the country needs is a load of disaffected teenagers with guns.

What’s up everyone? My name is Sam. I’m from Portland. I’m new to the forum and just wanted to say hi.. I hope I posted this in the right section.

Sam, this is a specific photography forum – try the General Discussion board (or somewhere like Facebook if you just want to make friends!) – unless you have a particular photographic point to make.

Best wishes – Dave, Bristol, UK

    Great pictures!
The ‘Follow Me’ is unusual, too. Thanks for posting.

The first couple of series in the ‘new’ format were great.

Since then it has gone steadily downhill and the viewing figures support this.

Doubtless Clarkson will get a series of his own to do, some of his historical stuff has been brilliant, but he needs separating from Top Gear as soon as possible. (Not that it matters much to me, I haven’t watched anything other than the odd snippet for about three or four series.)

    Moggy

Clarkson already has a series of his own! – Top Gear.
    According to Wikipedantic:
“Jeremy Clarkson , who helped the original series reach its peak in the 1990s, along with producer Andy Wilman, successfully pitched a new format for Top Gear to the BBC, reversing a previous decision to cancel the show in 2001. The new series was first broadcast in 2002.”
Can’t imagine him leaving – but I live in hope!:diablo:

I well remember saab in the sixties with the 2 stroke 92 and later 95 series good build quality and reliable with okld eric carllson rallying the hell out of them and beating all and sundry ,then the 900 series from there it was up up market models overpriced

    Had a ’67 Saab 96 with the Taunus-based V4 – ugly b*gger, but I loved it!
Mine was, apparently, an interim model with a different exhaust system than most of the other V4s – known at the dealers as ‘the odd one’.;)

Gave the service loan, 2-stroke 96 a good thrashing up the old A420 from Chippenham to Lyneham – great fun, but stank the place out! (it, not me!!).

    P.S.
Any resemblance between me and Eric Carlsson is purely physical - what a driver he was!

The excellent Hardwick shots show spoked wheels without frisbees – is this a recent change?
The aircraft is much too small for me, though!

It has a lot going for it certainly.

If only it was amphibian rather than just a seaplane then I’d rather spend my £100,000 on that than an Aston Martin of a Ferrari any time.

    Moggy

    Win the lottery then, Moggy?
I’m trying to save for a Smart car – unless you’re offering!

Don’t buy it regularly as I live in the suburbs/semi-rurals which are obviously not good sales pitches; but when I (reluctantly) go into the mighty metropolis () I usually buy one (then donate it back to the seller). I have to admit that I haven’t actually read one.

    So, today it is then?

Will it be shown on British TV?
