I’m probably going to give this French kit a try and see what comes of it.

In my opinion this is actually an excellent kit, with good surface detail, resin parts for the cockpit, wheel wells and tailhook compartment, photoetched parts for the cockpit, two vacformed canopies and a large decal sheet for VF-21 (“Sharkmouth”), VA-156 and the Blue Angels.

(How do you do a whole book on a plane that never went into service with only a few examples built?)

It has “only” 50 pages, contains a lot of detail shots and an extensive narration on how Grumman tried to sell that plane.:D

The very first Naval Fighters Volume was about the F11F. This one isn’t available any longer I’m afraid. Maybe secondhand…
Ginter did two more on the Tiger:
Number 40 (“Grumman F11F Tiger”) and 44 (“Grumman’s Mach-2 International F11F-1F Supertiger”).

While intensely searching the net for this one I found another picture of the type (besides a lot of other obscure stuff) as seen below without any reference to the type shown, given my nonexistent capabilities in the Spanish language.
