It is from Italy but it is neither a SAI nor a Breda.

I’m not sure if this helps but I twisted my scanner to create a better image
that shows more detail.

Information about this type is very sparse. I know of only one source,
the same I got the picture from.
Maybe I should consider the correct identification as academic
and reveal it as it is really only the type number that is still missing.

If anyone is interested in continuing the search let me know, otherwise

It is the Caproni Ca.167.

The picture is to be found on page 200 of the book
“Aeroplani Caproni” (Authors Rosario Abate/Gregory Alegi/Giorgio Apostolo),
subtitled “Giovanni Caproni and His Aircraft 1910 – 1983”
published in english language by the Museo Caproni in 1992.
(No ISBN, sorry).

A great number of rare Caproni aircraft pictures in this book.

I found this one in four different books (nowhere on page 145, though) with the manufacturer spelled in three different ways.

So it is either the

Kochyerigin DI-6 (CCB-11) (Gunston)

or the

Kocherigin DI-6 (TsKB-11) (Anderson and Green/Swanborough)

or the

Kotscherigin DI-6 (Nowarra).

Pick one, please.:D
