Only tv i watch is Sky Sports News, History Channel, Discovery/Wings and occasionally a music channel oh and the Simpsons!!!! 😀

The rest of it i don’t go anywhere near…

I work in the flight sim industry, and I can pretty safely say that the sales would never cover the development costs of a sim built from the ground up. We’re talking hundreds of thousands of pounds required, at the very least!

How different is the technology ???? It would be a whole host more interesting than flying a flight sim airliner???

I think there is some scope for this idea… A blend of a management game with some flight sim action. Each display you do earns you a score which then converts into pounds£ as you get better you fly better/different aeroplanes. You could have all sorts of aircraft…

Ive been to this show for the past few years and the flightline has been opened, the majority of the aircraft are Duxford Based (No Bad thing of course 😉 ) with the odd visitor including some RAF heavy metal Tornado/Jag/Harrier.

Its not quite up to the spectacle of Legends but as one of the last shows of the season and the long 6/7 months till the next ‘big’ show it is well worth the treck…

Forget JSF, once Typhoon gets on line it’ll be fantastic. It stated in the programme for Farnborough that even the American defence department agree that the Typhoon is second in the world only to the F22 Raptor (but with a much smaller price tag).

I think they are just being polite… 😀

Great Show!

Show me a public event anywhere in this country that is better value??!?

Nice work TFC/IWM.

One negative would be the ‘Grandstand’!! £15.00! Now thats not good value! My only other moan would be that to get a decent view you have to go right up by M11 or on the ‘Tank Bank’ the distance inbetween is occupied by countless marques and Static aircraft/Caravans and Cars. Would this encourage anyone to watch from outside???
