    John Bradshaw (Sea Fury pilot) said that he wasn’t going to fly in the show. Airframe and engine hours are too precious ….

    Great pics, but one thing I’ve noticed is the lack of any P51Ds (bar Twilight Tear of course)

    I think there will be a lot of Arrivals in the Morning! Not sure which Mustangs are coming but the more the better!!! What happened to Paul Morgans P51 ‘Susy’?

    What’s the story with the Sea Fury, never seen that one before????

    Nice lookin thing. There always seem to have been the odd Sea Fury about over the last few years but getting them altogether has proved a bit tricky!!! Good to see her tho!

    Ruined??!!!

    What i ment was that there significance is sort of lost within the Sculpture

    Difficult to explain what i mean its just that they look more like ‘after thoughts’ all hanging there in fact they sort of look crucified??!!????

    The focus of the sculpture doesn’t seem to be them??!!! Sorry if this makes no sense! v.tired and naff day…roll on legends…

    Complete RUBBISH!

    Some jumped up graduated ‘artist’ submerged in their own ego and self meaning could ruin three icon’s in such a way!!!!!

    wow i thought i was back in Science lessons for a moment. Thank you so much to those who have posted answers, i now have a better understanding! But not of the Bumble Bee 😀 the Bee thing doesn’t bother me too much :p

    Some great answers. i like the bike explanation. I suppose in a way its like high performance cars. They have lots of driver aids such as Stability Control?Brake assist etc etc car could be driven without these but you’d need to be extremely experienced capeable driver…

    I know this is probably one for the ‘military’ section but why is Eurofighter now a two seat, what is the single seater and how does it vary???

    Always thought it was a nice looking thing (for a modern jet) but that two seater looks hidious…

    My first thoughts were that it might be a Nimrod replacement!!! 😀

    Then a figured it my be the replacement for Eurofighter Typhoon!!! Might as well build the ‘Original’ Typhoon for all the use this new ones gonna be :rolleyes:

    I only wrote what I saw on that link. But I must agree that they don’t really fit in the theme of the Flying Legends Airshow. So we will have to wait and see about this team.
