Here is a top view showing the wing shape. It is not a Caproni or Macchi design. First flight was 1935. It crashed in 1938 and was rebuilt and flew again until 1939 before vanishing from history.

I found the photos on the net in a couple of different places. Very little documented about the airplane as you might have guessed.

Designed by a Russian, and then shipped off to Latin America and finally plying it’s craft in the Spanish Civil War. Naturally a USA effort, the Seversky SEV-3M.

It is the Leyat -Jacquemin of 1934 (later also found 1936 as flight year…argh). A few of this designs seemed to be called the “Helica”. Not sure on that. I do like those prop cars AA.
