Any idea where these will be based at?

If you check the website http://www.f-16.net, you should be able to find all of the information you require on the Fighting Falcon, no matter the variant. I believe they have a second installation listed where the UAE’s Desert Falcons will be based. Cheers!

You can try http://www.scramble.nl to view which assets both the USAFE has stationed in Europe. The same website will have a listing of other assets stationed in Europe by the US Army. As for any land based equipment, the US Army’s website might have the information you require. Good luck!

    Hi,
What kind of J-79 version did (J-79GE07/11/19 or else?)

    1. Kfir C1/C1+ please tell me in Max/min in Ibs
    2. Kfir C2/TC2 ‘” “” “”
    3. Kfir C7/TC7 ” ” ” “””
    4. Kfir CE/TCE ” ” “” “”

According to a book of mine (it’s old!), every version of the Kfir was powered by the same engine, the J79-J1E. The only aircraft in this family which isn’t powered by this powerplant is the Nesher, which is powered by an ATAR 9C. The J79 used by the Kfir family is rated at 11890lbs in dry thrust while it puts out 18750lbs of thrust in the full afterburner setting. Hope this help! Cheers.

No Grey, because the A350 is directed at EK and QR to a lesser extent. 😉

I’m confident EK will order the A350. However if for some extraordinary reason EK order the 787… its lights out for the A350.

I agree with you! Airbus is getting beaten everywhere and they have to decide what their next move is going to be. The A350 could be in trouble. It has a lot of ground to make up if it is going to be a success, which at this point, it nowhere near that!

Incredible work by Boeing to have secured so many orders for an aircraft that has yet to fly! It appears they have a winner in the 787! Airbus is taking a pounding in this sector.

It mentions that Airbus will conduct cold weather testing in Canada. Where exactly will these test be conducted? Knowing my luck, it will probably be out in Alberta or Montreal. Are there any chances they could be conducted out of Toronto?

How long before we see the second prototype take to the air? Will it be soon or later?

At this stage, they have only found one body and the search for the second pilot continues twenty-four hours after the fact.
May both these brave men rest in peace and my heartfelt condolensces go to their loved ones!

There is a definite possibility Airbus engineers would have used the Beluga’s performance and aerodynamics parameters as they moved forward with the A380’s development. At least, it would have given them an idea of how a large aircraft handled while in flight.
